Well this looks really good ofcourse, but Blizzard can't enchance their graphics to something like that, they will lose high amount of player base due the high graphical standards, cuz not everyone have high end pc - which means they will lose too much money. Set are much more detailed, thats means there is couple of fps. Like for the work, well done !
Thanks! :) I actually didn't do anything blizzard couldn't do for wow. I limited the polycount to a level reasonable for the game, and the textures are shown at 4k level but they could be scaled down and they wouldn't look all that different. The only real difference is the lighting I used since I render it all in blender. I def don't think my work is as good as Blizzard's though! I'm just figuring it all out as I make these videos.
For all of us priest mains, can we please get remaster of Benediction/Anathema, that staff is so iconic and eye catching to this day. Oh and throw in a Dreadsteed remaster in for good measure
You know what would be an incredible next subject? A remake of the Tarecgosa Staff & Visage mount, since we get a semi-proper mount for it now. (Still Per-Character and low-poly, despite Tarecgosa herself actually getting remodeled.)
Dude, if you know Blizz, just be graetful they even decided to do it, and dont compain! Like almost all wow players, i've also wanted for years Blizz to remake some of the most iconic sets and they finally start doing it, cause im certain they wont stop there! I hope to see T3 aswell at some point.
came here after the anouncement of the 20th birthday t2 remakes. personaly i like this version here much more than the actual remake but i can see where they were going with the asthetics.
even when you're redoing a plain looking stick from Vanilla wow you make it entertaining to watch. keep up the great work! I look forward to all your future projects
You do really cool things and Blizzard should take inspiration from them or, better yet, adopt them completely. Unfortunately you didn't do a good job here, the old version from 2004 looks a lot better. You can see the glow of the old weapon even from a great distance, it doesn't always need these flame effects. The weapon is simply timeless, just a little too small. Sometimes less is more.
You set the bar too high with your Judgement remake and now Blizzard's own version looks so bland, boring and just mismatched to me... I wish we could've gotten YOUR version, it's EVERYTHING Judgement needs to be imo... I love this facelift of the Raven stick :D
@CaptainDope I don't use UE but that's also an engine you put a model in, not where you make a model. I used Blender and 3Dcoat which you could use for any game really. As for the technical parts, I should have made this clear in the video but I made it within the same constraints as wow armor so they could hypothetically work in the game.
