Captain America is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. This bust would even better if it was painted in ALLCLAD paints. It would give all the costume and shield a beautiful metallic to compliment the flesh tones. and It would shine like no one's business.

I always have the hardest time doing the eyes on models like these. Granted I don't usually scale them up like that either. I did this same bust, but I just did a bronze like paint job over it. No worries with the eyes that way. 😁

this is by far the best improvement ive seen so far comparing the hulk you did 2yrs ago(not that i watched it back then(more likely 6months ago)). but damn. your skills have gone skyhigh. you should do a revisit on that hulk :D awesome work on this Captain America. i like your craft very much.

can i ask what you covered the eyes with while painting? Ive seen some modellers use like a plasticine rather than tape..guess its quicker?

Can i ask why you show a gloss and a matt varnish? you used both?

Yes you can use matt varnish to protect different layers of colour in case you mess up and it's good to finish none glossy parts like skin
