This is a very cool model I found of the ABC warrior from the 1995 Judge Dredd over on Myminifactory. Printed on my Wanhao D5s in P.L.A and scaled up 230% finished with real rust spray paint and LED eyes. I hope this video helps you with your build thanks for watching.

If u used asiatone and the printing support pieces you could make a chemical bonding agent that literally fuses the parts together and is super strong and has less body work

Wish I knew someone who would be willing to print me out the 3 parts at the same scale you have. I would be quite happy with the raw prints, it would give me something to do between chemo sessions

Try green stuff epoxy putty. Use small amounts with some modelling tools and water. Amazing stuff used by miniature modellers to fill seams and create extra details.

First I measured what I had printed then in mesh mixer loaded the 3d file put the measurement in and cut the model at that point with gave me what I haven't printed hope that makes sense

Damn. I have a ultimaker 2 and I can't get anything like this to print, jams, clogs and stalled extruded galore. It is a complete pita.

Your not the only one in the video I don't show my 4 failed prints from mainly clogs I was using 3mm filament and my printer prefers 2.85mm my printer the wanhao d5s is a copy of the ultimaker which from what I have seen is a great printer just keep at it pal

I haven't personally used it but from what I've seen it's a good printer with good build size and print quality

Just got my first printer finally! Super excited to start out some of these builds. Quesstion, the printer I got has about a 5" build plate, which is obviously too small for most prints. To split up already existing STL's I was thinking of pulling it into MeshMixer then into Fusion for clean up, then into Cura. Would you agree w/ that workflow or would you do something else?

ChunkyJo meshmixer does a good job of cutting stl in half and re-meshes the model for you so I'm not sure that you need to then put it in fusion for clean up meshmixer also as a inspect feature for fixing faults with the file hope this helped cheers

First off this is awesome, very well done! Second, im looking to get a 3d printer and one of the things im trying to get an idea of is how much filament various prints might use, so do you know how much this used? Was it a 1kg spool, 2 of them, only part of one anything like that would be good so i can get an idea

Great job! I'm having to guess at the actual size of the thing. I'm making an EVA foam replica and I could use some measurements to match up with the images I've found. Best I can do right now is 29-30cm from tip of nose to the back of skull, but it's still an estimate. Any chance of getting the overall height or height of lower jaw for scale?

@@jaggedpixel 10X better a lot of primers say their high build but this one is the best I've ever used and it's the only one I will use yes it's expensive but its great at getting rid of them layer lines some times I just prime and wet sand and it comes out great. If you do buy it have a bit of tissue paper handy because the primer is that thick it can build up on the nozzle when spraying. Cheers

I feel you guys... I also start with 120 dry/wet, and then to 220 dry/wet, and lastly 400 dry/wet... seems like overkill, but it works
