Looks like there's a bit of skipping on some of the arms. Maybe the tension should be increased a bit? Still, it's much smoother than I had anticipated. Excellent work!

I have a question though did you print using PETG? And if you did how is that sprocket holding up? And any parts that you have upgraded stronger since this to account for wear and tear?

Hey, wear and tear has not really been an issue, but I am working on a new version which will have support to keep the chain loop more tightly connected. I am also developing a PCB and am hoping to sell the whole thing as a kit with most of it pre built (just screw a few pieces together). Would that be something you think people would want? The PCB could also be sold on its own which can be used for whatever robot you can make with it.

Any specific reason You use Sprocket type wheel on the back of the tank? Awesome video BTW!

I wanted more control over the alignment of the chain. If I did not use a sprocket as an idler, the chain would have more freedom to shift. The chain location at the drive sprocket and idler sprocket need to be in alignment so they are outside the rollers and don't push against the flanges on the rollers.

Hey, I first want to say I like your SCUTTLE robot. It seems we are using very similar power sources. I am not completely sure yet about autonomy to be honest... but a goal could be waypoints via GPS. The big challenge now is perfecting the WiFi connectivity for long range. RC control needs to be perfect before I dive into autonomy.

I was also considering OpenCV for facial recognition through the robot's front camera. I will look into the open source info SCUTTLE has.

rolling nice :D but i predict 1 future minor problem that roller on the left if there a bump it will make contact with the chain i am now stuck at designing my own track specialy the sprocket the inside with real differential is done :D for a preview imgur.com/a/Ud7dxIb

@@MrCcfly According to your logic, If You made a PCB, and solder all of the necessary components, in order to make a circuit, That means You buy that circuit?, You can't just make Transistors capacitor, resistors by yourself dude. And still, you made that Circuit not Bought it
