If you have landing gear taxi tests with increasing speeds can really help get the trim sorted out for a first flight. Hand launches not so much. My maiden flight on Thur did not end well.
Awesome videos Troy. I have printed my first plane, yet to maiden. I have just tried LW-PLA, an incredible difference. But it seems so fragile!!! I don't know if I want to risk a LW-PLA plane. I'd probably break it just getting it to the airfield!!
Remember, every time you punch that throttle, she's going to roll left on takeoff...I like the way it headed for that small chainlink fence at the edge of the Runway. The only one for miles around...lol ...🤔😯🙄😳🇬🇧
P factor and a departure stall, you had someone watching over you. Witnesses this in a full size airplane, didn't work out too well for the pilot or the airplane.
Glady subscribed! I'm a maker, printer, and mini flier. Someday I'm going to 3d print my dream FPV P38. Till I can I will gladly watch and learn some from your channel. I hope someday they make a easy FPV kit for planes. I'm saving for that printed leap into the air.
Those were some great saves. Nicely done. Would an even slower, more gradual throttle help? I'd love to see a few more take-offs... and some landings. Do you feel the take-offs would be different with a LW or LW/PLA Hyrbrid?
