Man, I don't think you realize how amazingly helpful this video actually is! Not even just for printing plane parts, just 3D print in general. You really highlight how the art of 3D print really is in the ability of the user to dial in their G-Code based on the print/application. wow thank you!
This video is great, I'm starting this project, could you help me? Does this red piece that you use as a guide for gluing come in the file package or do I have to make it separately?
Hello Sir, Pray you get this comment. I have a v3-plus my kids got me . I would greatly appreciate it if you would download: settings,, prefoam or foaming PLA,, build instructions. Retired and getting up there in age. I have both prefoamed and foaming, kids say foaming not good to be around. Thank you in advance, Scouts Out.
Hello Troy, I made the settings you placed, but the reinforcements between the wing profile were not marked for the printer to print. Is there any parameter to activate? Thanks in advance
"...kept gliding and gliding..." That's because there's zero wing tip vortex and that because its a copy of billions of years of evolutionary 'giant wind tunnel testing'. Even the elevator has zero. Possibly the rudder does? Difficult to see. Fly it through smoke...
I'm so sorry to see it go down on its maiden voyage, but what I love most is that you didn't fly off the handle, and your NTSB investigation skills are spot on 😂 I just subbed and I'm gonna watch to see if you post a follow up!!! Great job though on the build!!
Can you post a link to the pushrod material you used? Thanks for the video, it was a huge help. Eclipson says to use 2mm carbon rods for assembly but they're too big. And Eclipson's customer support is non-existent.
