technically silencers fall under the same paten as a car muffler. Something like that would work as a go-kart muffler, and I'm starting to see a loophole
Not as durable. Same thing with oil filters. They work but get less and less effective with every shot. Actual suppressors work consistently and can go through way more rounds
You can make decent enough baffles out of steel freeze plugs washers and some spacers. My form 2 suppressor is made out of a steel pipe I had threaded to accept end caps and then I bought the freeze plug drilled out the center and placed one and spacer after another. She works great thus far on .22 and 9mm
I guarantee within the next hundred years they will be a human list gun store where you go up and you put in your information such as a card or something it’s like a identification chip or something and you scroll through a selection and you select the gun you pay for it, and then the machine prints the whole gun itself completely out and whenever it’s done it notifies you when you pick your firearm up
Interesting the way you said it you can get the designs that a machine is cannot pull off very bold statement chicken little you obviously never RU-vid, insane machinery, work anything can be pulled off by a well talented machinist so you don’t seem to have a good habit of pissing people off
the gas stays in the "barrel" which means more back pressure on the slide. how's that shit reduce recoil? unless u just got added weight on the front making to counteract the barrel being kicked up.
