I am very impressed. I am subscribed to several 3D printing channels, and you are the one who has pushed your 3D printer to the limit.

I'd love it you added the air parts to see the difference in assembly. The plate between the toolhead bracket and the heartbreak will not be there right?

@jordi Fernandez Garcia yes it will just be a different plate call the universal hotend adapter. You can see if on my video about the vz-hextrudort 3d printed

You need to make yourself a X axis shelf. Bolted to the wall, like if your wall was a actual VZBot 300% scale.

Looks good Vez, you should mount it on the wall somehow. I'm loving the printed VZ carriage on my Hevort along with the goliath and Vz-Hextrudort. The Goliath is an absolute beast of a hotend even without a high flow nozzle.

Excellent model and project; now all you need is some 5.25mm filament to push through that beast. Thanks for the warning on that silk filament, but the results from your project may be enough to encourage others to push through on their own project. What fell down during the C-Pap tube print?

Niiiiiiice During the timelapse at 5:15, I noticed the leadscrew wiggles a bit. Since you use oldham couplers, should'nt they be restrained with bearings ?
@Vez3D
@Vez3D Год назад
You can add bearings and let the wobble taken by the oldham...but here i prefer not to do that. I let it wobble at thr top with no constrain..and let the oldham take the rest and take the miss alignment

You need to print the X gantry, with linear rails. Then the printhead can move along the X axis. Mount the gantry to the wall.

Put the head on a cable and leave it fly over your monitors. A little spot light on can complete the magic job.

Hi Simon, I have a question, what is the minimum vel you are able to print abs and pla with the Goliath trying to achieve the best print quality not caring about velocity (obviously not printing at 50mm/s, otherwise I would keep the prusa) ?… I ask because I want to understand if it is better for me to switch to this extruder to speed up 50% of my normal prints but without losing quality on the other 50% when I need more precise print by making it go slower. (I use the printer for home and for work, at home I usually need a faster printer, but when I use for work I need the best quality details cause I use the printed object for casting aluminium, mould ecc ecc) Tnx I hope u understand because I’m not very good in English 😅
