In this video, I share a 3D printed attachment to a string trimmer that enables gardeners to efficiently kill weeds. I call this tool "the obliterator," as it obliterates weeds.
For large, thick weeds, the tool likely doesn't destroy the entire weed. However, for patches of small weeds, which is what this tool is designed for, it displaces and tears up the entire weed, including the roots. Even if it didn't always get the roots, you can imagine that it would take less total time to sweep through your garden with this every week or two than pull out all the weeds by hand every month.
Wish there was more demonstration than 5 clovers. Makes this feel like an infomercial setting it up for best possible scenario, yet unpractical. Maybe this is for gardens that are all set up and managed already and you're just up keeping and already kept garden
