Hi, I wonder if you could help me. I am a crane operator and I need to find out the length of the 4 legged chains (one side would do) This is the challenge. Given a 20 foot container, it needs to be lifted from the bottom corners and the angle at the top must be at 90 angle between diagonal chains (where the chain bends inwards) to the middle center of the container. What is the length of the chains, or just one chain, since it will be symmetrical? Container dimensions. L 6.06m H 2.59m W 2.44m
but without maths, we might've not survived! Not because I love maths but maths is used in almost everything we use. Internet, medicines(calculus for multiplying bacteria and producing complex chemicals), constructions, exercising, cooking and even in sports!
