*UPDATE* It turns out the Black Myth Wukong doc is most likely faked. The one fluff has returned! Shoutouts to SRC267, Derek Turtle Roe, JaaShooUhh for the news tips!
@@2psah2 love it when people chalk hard work and dedication to down to AI. as if it was remotely possible that the information it had would could or even can be even useful to the project. AI is ok for optimizing code but people give it way too much credit.
@@rabbitblitzsgames6865 yeah ai just goes off of what’s already available publicly. The devs had to go in and make guesses in order to make a working ps4 emulator
@@elwen8525 also for ai to be used you'd have to have the infrastructure of the ps4 emulator to begin with. Incredibly unlikely. Again the only thing AI could do in this case is clean code but often times that would destroy other parts of said code and you'd have to rebuild entire sections. While its not completely impossible AI was used, it is highly unlikely and very improbable.
Citra's name comes from the CTR which was coyly interpreted as Citra, like a citrus fruit, so all of the forks are following in the same footsteps by choosing their names from other citrus fruits like limes and lemons and oranges. Yuzu is also a citrus fruit, which makes sense because it was mostly the same team developing it.
@@TheAbsol7448 Slightly off topic, but Sudachi's still in development, the dev just took it off GitHub while he undergoes rewrites to avoid getting smited by the DMCA hammer.
@@_GarethRossUKit's not *what* it's rendering that's impressive. It's the fact that a PC is emulating a PS4 rendering a video file without any hitches that's impressive
@@melly5345 its just a media player file go look at the file system. I was during peak xbox 360 take out the video files from games they are just a special container that with a certain player will load. until its rendering game graphics its nothing exciting at the moment. i cant rememember the players name but it wasnt a normal video player. it was dedicated for video game video files. i think it was bink video this was a long time ago.
getting the game to boot up without crashing is the biggest challenge I knew bloodborne was going to be playable in at least a year but it might be even sooner possibly by the end of this year
@Mr. Sujano Get the Bink Video Player, playing a video file at full speed in an emalator isn't ground breaking it could well be using the Bink video player in the background to load those. I used to do the same with Xbox 360 files and even found some hidden never meant to be seen video files for Mercenaries 2 which I did upload at the time.
I'm STILL kickin' myself for uninstalling Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition... BUT I REALLY NEEDED THE SPACE!!! Well, at least the Director's Cut still works Great on my Handheld!😁 Excellent video, AS ALWAYS!
Never heard of Elementary Destiny before, but I agree. The overworld looks amazing but the art style for the combat scenes seems a little more generic and less in line with the game’s visual style.
i was so excited for the legacy of kain info until i realized it was evercade stuff. i really hope they give us a chance to get soul reaver again i've been trying to get it for a while. might have to get it for the original console but i really wanted a pc version x.x
I'm 50 50 on the black myth wukong review policy. My guess is they saw the stellar blade controversy and are trying to avoid it. They also seem to stop the reviewers from saying it's a Chinese game or talking about china, which I find silly since it's based on Chinese mythology. On the other hand I think these policies are too restrictive, what if there was an issue with the game that involved nudity or violence that the reviewer wanted to point out, under these terms they couldn't point it out. And if someone wants to talk about the games nudity put politics in their review, it should be fine, ignore them if you don't like the review. This just seems bad but I can understand why they did it.
Absolutely love the Kain series... and the one fluff 😊 wish they would remaster them.... played through the whole series recently to enjoy the story again.. way the end of the last game (Defiance) marries up into the intro of the first game.
0:37 - Lime3DS heading to Google Play, I see. It would be a massive win for those looking into 3DS emulation on Android. 1:03 - GoNADs 😅 2:12 - Honestly, if we're getting an Eternal Champions movie, I really hope it stays 100% faithful to the source material. He already did a great job with Pokémon Detective Pikachu, so if he does do Eternal Champions, I hope he doesn't screw it up. 11:06 - Rosie ❤
Sonic in GTA? Everyone knows it should have been Shadow. I'm not exactly looking to buy an Evercade, but that price for a Legacy of Kane collection sounds super reasonable!
The only reason citra went down is cause some of the devs of yuzu that woeked on citra didn't wanna risk it. The DMCA was only for yuzu not citra but they got cold feet and decided to stop development of citra too
Hollywood desperate af lol, imagine making a movie about a dead IP that even Sega hasn't resurrected after the Genesis era...i love EC but this ain't it chief.
Any good device with a powerful processor like the latest Snapdragon models in 850 and above series. But even then some emulators like aethersx2 will struggle to run some games like metal gear solid 2 and 3 without compromises.
If you play Eternal Champions, you should play the Sega CD version, which has finishers that even put modern Mortal Kombat to shame in terms of absurdity and being disgusting.
Wukong devs are like "don't instigate negative discourse". And already there's a guy calling uncaucasian people the "DEI Mafia". Sounds like pretty negative discourse to me.
@@CarlosDiaz-fs6cvhe may be talking about pirated game roms with extra virus/malware code that will be executed by the n64 emulator, hence infecting your device...
Your not alone on not liking a bunch of JPEGS fumbling on screen pretending to fight those were a product of the era and were due to the limitations of technology of the consoles at the time as developers at the time would have sold all they had if they could animate them properly and make em look good but now some Devs are trying to sell you on nostalgia I would have preferred they went with the Chrono Trigger way as at least the characters on screen were actually animated and moving about even if its simpler in art style.
@@Ben-Rogue to me it looks the same as the PS4 version. That one runs 60fps on PS5 as well, I am nowhere near interested in paying them that price when a very similar version can be bought for a fraction. For PC gamers, obviously this will be the only option, but it's still overpriced for a linear pick your own adventure game.
Still think Black Myth Wukong looks like a never ending cutscene and lacking substance. Always weary of Chinese made games. Don’t play mobile games, and I can’t think of a console or PC Chinese made game that is any good.
while i agree that he's good for emulation info, i can't let you do that nor do you have this power as macho nacho, modern vintage gamer, and a few other channels exist. Mr. Sujano just reports gaming news the cleanest he can. nothing directly emulation based. tho Fun Fact i just looked up the word "emulation" on youtube and Mr Sujano is the 3rd one down. second is Modern Vintage Gamer. and the first result is someone ive never heard of by the user of rgt 85.
Not gonna buy anything that requires a second or third party Account or Launcher aside from Steam! Especially when its just a F. single player game! Also, no Denuvo!! First choice will always be GOG or Arrrrg. There are simply no other legit ways anymore to not get ffed by these anti consumer companies!! There is making money by selling a legit product. And there is what they do, which is completely unacceptable!
about black myth wukong, that is *incredibly* out of pocket! any journalist that agrees to that isn't doing games journalism, they are marketers doing pr for a game release, and you absolutely can't take their word w/integrity. developers should absolutely NOT be able to make such demands of INDEPENDENT JOURNALISTS, regardless of how you feel about any of those topics.
Yeah... the only thing I know about Black Myth Wukong is that they made some weird anti-liberal demands. But that's enough to tell me to stay far, far away from it.
@@adylutai10 Right? It's super weird giving game journalists a list of political topics they're not allowed to mention. It makes the game devs look like jerks.
The fact devs have to tell gaming journalists not to preach about feminism in their review is really irritating. How is professional gaming journalism not dead yet?
@@ToyKeeper If you gave me a copy of your new game to review and all I did was preach about how the game was against trans people and fatphobic and supported communism and said almost nothing about the game itself, how would that make YOU the jerk if you asked me not to do that? Are you drunk?
I'm not so sure including things like Mario into the Mutliverse is something you should promote on your channel. It's got Spongebob and other clearly ripped off assets. I'm not making a moral argument, but it is better if these things remain under wraps and just have a shadow drop so it gets out there first, then it is worth promoting.
For those of you who don't speak NPC, let me translate: "If you have actual morals and don't mindlessly support the current regime, then you are a bad person."
Nah, in places like Argentina and Spain, feminism is just a political weapon like any other. Used to protect some politicians, attack others and parasite from the state inforcing absurd discriminatory laws. Feminism sucks.
Actual morals be inclusive be nice dont kill dont be mean dont scream nonsense to people that dont agree with you dont throw garbage outside be respectful follow the law
@@chriskim5535 i dont get what you are trying to say. Both ripping your own rom and not doing so doesnt make you a pirate. Knowing or not knowing how doesnt make you a pirate either. You are considered a pirate if you download/consume content that was "meant" to be paid for. But like even then that's vague.
I have absolutely no problem with people pirating... Also, considering there's no "legal" way for people to re-download their copy of The Crew from Ubisofts UPlay store, the only way for any to play a game THEY PAID FOR, with the upcoming server emulator, would be to "pirate" a copy.
ngl the "Do NOT include feminist propaganda" in the black myth wukong leak is a huge redflag for me given the company has already had allegations of misogynistic conduct...
The only allegation are mistranslated Chinese quotes from an IGN article. Every media that repeat the supossed allegations link to the same false article.
