Unlike Others , your lessons is really Full of Practice information and every step you make you under stand why and when to make it , wish you be good and keep on :)
awesome like always! thank you Kyle! It would be nice a tutorial where the actors change the type of animation. For example, in this tutorial, some actors, when they come close enough to the wall, may try to jump over the wall to avoid it and others will crash into it :)
its very good training of Actor PROPS ty crowd and plz tell me one question about ty crowd is how to do texture in tow different characters using in tyActor node if i applying using multisub materials tyflow apply only 1 ID i am also using MatID node on tyflow but cant solve my problem .hope you understand if any body know plz help only texturing issue on multiple character .thanks
That's a good question! There's a few different ways to achieve the ability to vary textures on a crowd of actors. It really depends on how your material is set up on your source character. For example, if you have only 1 diffuse map for your entire character, you can make a multi-sub material, and modify each sub to your liking (change clothing color, modify in photoshop, etc,). Then if you have a MatID operator in your flow, you can make it random, and apply the multi-sub material on your tyflow, and it should randomize the actor's materials. Does that make sense?
Very nice tutorial! Would be great to see how to switch that from biped to mesh,... I get spongy body when I switch to mesh. Is it good idea to keep the biped and add mesh on top?
Thanks for tutorial! I have trouble rendering actors with props. The thing is, when you link props to the bones and add skinned mesh to TyActor list, TyFlow thinks that a prop is a bone and doesn't render it. Maybe you can give me a hint ?
Yep! Around 17:10 in the video is when I explain this. You have to add a TyProperties modifier to your tyProp, and assign it a group so you can reference it in your flow. Then you can filter it with a property test, or in this case I used a send out operator with a filter enabled. Toward the end of the video I assign different materials to the hats with the same method.
Hi, i have a question about event_002. Could You tell me why its like this? Why its going out from actor to event 2. Its makes no sense to me. If actor is on then send out (in event 1) shouldn't be working?
Ur hard work is going to payoff some day mate.. Its a tiring job what u r doing and ur investment shall earn you great results in the future..keep up the good work..
Thanks man! I'm just making these tutorials for fun, but I usually find good things happen when I do stuff just for fun anyways. Maybe that's a good philosophy for life :)
Hi Kyle. Sorry for noob question. I have rigged mixamo character. When use him with TyFlow how do I get the original material back onto the actor? I did not either get a material in my slots..
