But how do you put the high details mesh on your low poly character? What is the process you called when a high poly model, and texture map is created, and then lower the polys on your model but use same high quality texture map on the low poly model?
I think you sub divide the low poly model to create more polys in a new layer then you can make changes on the low poly layer which then automatically makes changes on the high poly layer. I think you can do this in mudbox

Really wish you had either included the image you used for your model, or even a 3dsMax save file with the image setup and ready to model, just so some of could do this alongside you... :(
Is it possible to make a human character with no views? I mean, if you have a sketch and know the character idea, but don’t have the left, right, back and front view references.
What software are you using to show all the keys you are pressing and mouse clicks? If you can please let me know that would be very helpful. Thank you!
