@@Brandon-LSX I was originally going to save up and buy a new 84 Z28 but just out of High School couldn’t wait and bought a used 81. Finally got another Camaro this summer 2020 SS 1le. I think when I retire in a couple years I’d like to do a project. Thinking either something like you did or a 1st gen retro mod. I’ll be looking forward to seeing more content from you.
my dad is a body shop manager when hes not waiting on a kidney ha, but he is really trying to get me to redo the body of my firebird as shes getting a little rough still a great starter but needs a fender and some body work maybe a quarter panel as the paint is getting rust through down low. this video made me wanna start on mine right now lol but i have to wait until i get the new manifold and computer installed and the fuel pump issue figured out first.
I say go for it Man. That's the best time to do body work when there not running haha. Sometimes it gives you the extra motivation to get it finished if its looking nice 💯
Little off topic, I watched your transmission video but didn't see what your running for hydraulics for the clutch. I'm also doing a swap on my 3rd gen. Thanks
Winter's coming to us here in New England. Should I disconnect my battery and store in a warm place or attach a Battery Tender? I see your battery connection and figured I'd ask. Nice job on the spraying.
Thanks. I like to remove and store in warm place off the ground. Charge it up once halfway through winter. Unless its in a heated garage I don't worry about it to much.
Its best to build them for your specific car. Take a measuring tape to your wheel. I like to go 4 inches wider than tire. Also long enough that your wheel rest in-between the 2 wheel stops so it couldn't roll off at all.
