3rd Gen Tacoma Bumper Cap Inserts - NEVER CUT ANOTHER BUMPER 

I just wanted to comment saying that this looks like a great product and a fair price. People seem to forget all the R&D that goes into something like this, as well as the price to get it manufactured in relatively small quantities. The body lines look awesome and good luck with the product once it comes to market. I think it will do great.

Honestly I would pay $150 color matched. It’s just a piece of plastic. Just fair price opinion from the customer.

the only thing keeping my from getting a new bumper is cutting, this is a game changer for sure. not sure how far along into production you guys are but if you could get it within a quarter inch or so from the bumper that would look super clean

200-300 tooo pricey almost the whole thing OEM. Plus the middle under part is missing.

Dang, just that small piece makes the Tacoma look so much better.

I think what people are forgetting is this took time in RND which adds to initial cost of the product. If there were multiple variations of these from other companies then the lower cost point would be justifiable but with these being the first of their kind and also paint matched it’s not all the unreasonable when you think about it. I already have my bumper cut but I’ll be getting these to clean up the front end and get rid of the gap and trim I had to use to cover up the cut line. Just my .02

Also, the insert where the fog light goes, I love- I think yall should make this the exact way you cut your OEM. it gives it more curves and angles that I love

Great product, I have them on my Tacoma. Only issue is what do you guys do with the lack of structure under the grill? It’s not dangling or anything like that but the grill does wiggle some. I have a C4 Hybrid, their instructions showed to cut the original bumper to maintain this structure. Thanks for any info..

These are pretty awesome because I didn't want to cut up my bumper Incase of resale. Unfortunately if these are the price you are saying, they are more expensive than an OEM bumper.

Does anyone know how much paint and labor cost? If they come painted 2-300 is definitely reasonable. The cost of an OEM bumper plus paint if you ever want to revert back to stock is well over that. I see people all the time selling their rigs and wishing they had an OEM bumper to revert back to.

If I still need to get it painted, I might as well just buy a OEM bumper replacement if I need to go back, IMO. From my local dealer the full bumper cap is $205 primed. If y'all can get the price down from $200-300 would probably be a better option for people.

Honestly, the convenience of it does make it work the $200 imo. Don't have to cut anything, and you can always put the old bumper back on, or even just sell it to help pay for these inserts. Probably not gonna stretch it for $300, but when I put a bumper on I'll consider these. Suspension first though 😅
