Here we are showing off possibly the best off-roading front bumper. Inspired by the Dakar Rally, the 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma Dakar Hybrid Front Bumper was built for the most extreme trails. Constructed using a combination of steel plates and DOM tubing, this bumper has been engineered to be 33% lighter than traditional steel plate bumpers, but just as strong. That means a super light design that helps your efficiency on the road and the trail, but still keeps you protected. The design dramatically improves your approach angle, meaning steeper climbs and better off road capabilities. Let us know in the comments what product walk around you would like to see next!

Wow, really liking your new approach to the design of this. Great thinking especially about the sensor. I’m hoping you can do something similar on the new tundra. Will be a real test to see what your design would be for the 2022 Tundra TRD Pro to accommodate the sensor and the factory light bar. Would love to be able to have room to mount lights on top of the bumper underneath the bull bar.

Just ordered the bumper! Huge fan! I have been waiting for something exactly like this. If we haven't opted for an aftermarket front skid will the factory front skid plate still fit or will we need to get aftermarket?

The stock skid plate will not work together unless you have the TRD pro version

Can you mount bumper and still keep crash bar on? Or does the crash bar exile all together when installing this bumper?

Crash bar is removed and bumper is bolted into the same spot.

I have a few questions. Is there an all aluminum version of this bumper? I ordered a raptor style Bumper and I’m wondering if my TSS sensor and front facing camera will work with this. I want to order this Bumper. It’s the best one I’ve seen and I know that CBI is the brand for me.

No we don't offer an aluminum version of this bumper. Yes it is designed to work with the TSS, but it might cover the front camera a little bit.

The bumper looks good. There's a CBI bumper that looks similar, but there are some claims that it crumples with a relatively light impact. It looks like the grill guard leaves the top of the radiators open to potential damage in case of a deer/animal strike.

The one's that crumple are typically made from Aluminum, and usually a Knock -off of an actual CBI bumper. Cbi is well known for making some of the best off road steel products on the market today, amongst Prinsu, Uptop, and Cali-raised etc...

You mentioned the 30” light bar can only be removed by taking the bumper off. How about the side lights? Can they be installed later without removing the bumper? How about the winch?

Side lights can be installed later without removing the bumper but you would have to remove for the winch.

Can someone tell me more about the support brackets for the Dakar front bumper. What’s the difference between the standard support bracket and the remote reservoir support bracket???

The remote reservoir bracket allows you to mount the remote reservoir shock if you have them.

If you have the steel TRD skid plate you will have to cut the skid plate to make it work, but if you have the Aluminum TRD Pro skid plate then yes it will work with out bumpers!

What happens to the sensors on the original bumper?

The sensor is in the lower portion of the grill. The bumper will work with the sensor without any adverse affect.

Update your rear high clearance bumper and I’ll pull the trigger on all 3 body pieces. Lol. I’m running full C4. Does this require frame support brackets or come with it?

We only make this bumper in steel. That is one of the huge benefits of our Dakar series bumpers... you get all the strength of steel and the light weight aspect of what an aluminum bumper would have. Its a win-win!

Haha! I love these shoes. They are Scott brand. Unfortunately they do not sell them in the US. Scott is a European brand out of Switzerland and I was able to get a pair since we sell Scott bikes.
