I have an idea for a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier that i believe would be a good option for a manufacturer to make. Would be great to speak to someone about my idea n see if its a viable option
Will this work with lightbars mounted behind the grill? I have two, upper and lower part of the grill with the SDHQ mount. Also, do you install the winch onto the bumper before or after installing it onto the truck? Also, can you cut the plastic without removing it from the truck? Cant I just take an angle grinder straight to the plastic while its on the vehicle? thanks.
We recommend removing the bumper, but I have heard of some people that have done it without removing. You will want to install the winch first, as it'd be nearly impossible with it installed on the truck already. As far as the lights behind the grill, we can't guarantee that it will or will not work, but don't see why not. Somebody has to do it first! Let us know how it goes!
This install was done at our shop in South Dakota just so we could make the install video. The customer is from Hawaii but stationed here for Airforce.
