3rd Gen Tacoma on Portals hit Big Bear!!! 

A buddy of mine who runs one of the few 74weld Portal Axles on a third generation Toyota Tacoma invited me for a run to Big Bear on this day. I took my 2000 4runner on Solid Front Axles for this run as I prepare for a big trip at the end of the month. The group had one 80 series Land Cruiser on 40's and a 5th Gen 4runner on beefy super duty front and rear axles also on 40's. We hit Gold Mountain, and half way through, we meet with a group of guys on jeeps that camped out for the night there. We finish the trail and hit the Infamous John Bull trail. Much has changed even just a few months since I last came to John Bull. Overall, it was a success. I try flying my drone but I'm still not used to it and need to upgrade my boomer tech skills.
