@@KingArthurDent probably because Gmail was one of their early ways of pulling ahead of Bing and Yahoo, so they had to make it good and haven't had much need/opportunity to ruin the spam filter there. They got RU-vid when it was decent, improved it until they were certain they had no competition, then started running it into the ground. The bot filter was already pretty dodgy because there was less obvious tells than in emails, and because it was a botted channel just needs to have some legitimate comments to make it "seem real", and google made it worse when they made the word filter (the one that deletes comments based on certain words and potential context), so now the system is useless. (Pretty sure it also got mucked about with when China's social credit system got introduced because when a population that large starts parroting government propoganda, it looks like a swarm of bots [plus there's a lot of Chinese government bots that are on here and banning them would lose google it's favourite source of revenue]).

@@theapexsurvivor9538 to be fair.... spam detection isnt easy (I actually work in spam detection for something else). now imagine if google/youtube bans an account by mistake because they were _too_ safe. Then the news headlines will say "google bans account for no reason". its not a good look. so some times false negatives pass through and thats what we see. imagine all the bots we DONT see. For instance, in my team, we catch something like 90% of spammy content. no one even knows. spam detection is something users wont notice if we're doing our job well. but as soon as one thing slips through we get angry emails. what they dont see is EVERYTHING we catch and dont show. if we let all that through, ohhh boy it would be a proper mess Also i assume if an account gets a lot of reports within some period of time, then it will trigger some alarm in their system lol. maybe its too spread out. imagine if people started to randomly report you as spam. it wouldnt be great. and if they were to quickly ban you in the first 5 reports, that would be bad for everyone involved tldr: spam detection is hard.

Bdubs and Etho are really selling it for this series. I love that they're both leaning into their rivalry.

Feel like they had a meeting before this session, where they agreed to speed thing up a little, cuz I feel like they could keep going with most the server on green for dozens of episodes

@@TheBenjaman I honestly don't think they needed an agreement. I think this was all natural; the seeds for everything except Etho's shenanigans were sown in week 3, and the rest of the chaos just got Etho in the mood for more.

@@yf-n7710 Yeah, Etho spent his last few episodes building his flamable castle and herding all types of mobs around the server. I think he was just hungry for some fun/chaos. And everything else that happened was just a natural continuation of all the other storylines going on in the server.

I don't think it would have been true though. 4 TNT Minecarts do a LOT of damage. Even blast protection May not be enough. Keep in mind that he was wearing enchanted armour.

More like an at-her-last-wits’ wife/partner imo. She’s only a year older than him, it’s hard for me to think of her as a mother, especially because she hates children and doesn’t want any lol (She’s okay with her students tho obvs).

When she said 'GET OUT', through gritted teeth and while slapping Etho out of the window, I had a sudden flashback to being chased out of the kitchen by my mum as a kid.

To be fair. Bdubs does more or less act like a child xD same as Etho. So i can see why people look at Cleo in third life as some kind of mom

@@cherrydragon3120 Cleo has been quite mischievous and a large part of driving the story forward in her first few episodes with stealing Pizza, I don’t see her as a mom at all because she wanted to do more things like that and it was Bdubs who was “acting like a dad” (not really) trying to hold her back til he decided to embrace her naughty side and encouraged her chaotic nature. (Although I do agree that Bdubs acts like a child a lot of the time, especially with Etho, Bdubs’ dynamic with Cleo is more of a love/hate partnership between an established couple. It’s okay to disagree though! I’m having just as much fun watching 3rd Life as I imagine you are. :)

that was my biggest laugh of the episode, Cleo is great

mostly because if he just starts attacking people hes just gonna lose his last life asap cause pretty much everyone moves in pairs for most of the session, thats why him and grianset up the trap on ren rather than just run up behind him and fight

I mean, Scar did push Ren off the cliff though, which nearly killed him as well. Though besides that, not too many real attempts to kill people have been made

I hope 3rd life doesn't become just a one time thing. I'm loving this and its obvious the RU-vidr's are as well (well maybe not Ren)

to be fair, scar is perhaps the least threatening Minecraft player of all time, yet tons of people are bending to his idle threats and will. then again, he and grian orchestrated the most horrific act of terrorism that has been wrought in recent Minecraft history. 😅

He could make a bomber. Flying machine + dispenser of tnt. Build it on the y-axis above the castle.

@@golett0331 Dispensers have inventories and thus cannot be pushed. You'd have to place the tnt manually

@@wj11jam78 I didn't say the dispenser needed to be attached to the machine as it flew. Flying machines can be built to stop at the push of at button.

@@golett0331 I see. But then why not just... Place the tnt instead of putting it in a dispenser first? Alternatively, TnT minecarts CAN be pushed. So you could use those in conjunction with activator rails to rain hell.

@@wj11jam78 Depends on how the machine is made. If it's got the redstone block easily accessible when not moving, don't need dispenser, else the dispenser is so don't have to keep placing the tnt before activating it. I just remembered redstone torches exist

Etho is is married, which means he understands how important it is to enjoy the journey to the destination. A fast rocket explosion is no fun for either side, and I suppose in his case it would be supremely embarassing.

In part because he failed (though I'd have to watch the footage back, as he might have aimed so both would be duds). But also because they're afraid that he'll find a way to lava trap the stairs or something.
