2024 seems to be a good year for 3rd party kits and add on so far ! 00:00 Glory 00:06 Gundam Physalis 01:03 Sinanju 02:09 Aerial Gundam 03:33 Blade King 04:13 Thunder Incise Grace #gundam #physalis #gunpla
I wouldnt praise any company that much if I were you. Third party GunPlas tend to have unnecessary tight fits here and there in the joints and sometimes you have to mod them a little just to snap fit them. Sure, Bandai also have flaws on their kit but without that company, the other third party companies wont even exist till this day.
@@BigTatasEnjoyerr true. I just built the SNAA Hunt and Kill kit last week and I legit feel tingles in my fingers for the entire day due to pushing the parts in. Halfway through the build I got a round file to file down some of the connector joints. Armor parts goes on smoothly though. I hope their upcoming kits have better fit. Their new 1/144 kit looks quite good and is pretty dirt cheap in my country, even cheaper than Bandai's EG line. I still have a few more 3rd party kits in my backlog currently and hope those have better fit too.
very true and i hope the company making this one gets shut down for ip theft and before any one gets pissy about me saying that just think about how these companies are basically taking potential profits from bandai in the end increasing bandai operating costs which in turn dives the cost of their products up meaning we pay more because of some cunt in a third world shit hole
Well bandai mg gp02 is so old ,my brother have it and if i not mistaken it from 98, it's doesn't have full inner frame and can't hold the shield at all, the polycap joint is so weak the hg is better in so many aspect than the old mg, the price is 4000 yen
there are photos of the GP02 frames going around. honestly the details rival PGs. it completely swept over bandai MGs. 2024 seems to be the year of 3rd party with all these amazing releases
Hmm hope the MG Physalis has good build quality like the glory. That would be actually amazing. Also, what kind of direct translation is 酸酱果 for physalis? 😂
Bandai is busy with pbandai, metal build, metal structure, metal robot.. let them 3rd party take over.. just like Transformer.. its time to delegate the works mate.. for a better Gundam experience 🎉🎉
wrt a 3rd party releasing something Bandai hasn't done before, there's the MG Jadg Doga from Daban, and Bandai has released a MG GP02 before, it's just old.
There already was a Bandai Mg GP02a back in like 1999 or 2000. It was great but is super outdated. The Solomon version has completely new inner frame that looks absolutely incredible.
@@razrafz I disagree about the arms, I own three copies of that kit. I would also argue that SOME modern HG kits are somewhat like classic MG's with the inner frame they sometimes have, as this was an MG only feature. The inner frames of these HG's are really basic though and don't feature any mechanical detail and they also aren't as feature rich or detailed as old MG's.
More competition means more competitive prices and ,more likely, higher quality control A whole lot of a better outcome to the consumers and to the hobby in general
I'll end up getting the Sinanju frame to go with my Takumi Studios conversion kit. Going to make that an absolutely beautiful piece and rock solid to boot. The GP02 is already on the 'buy when available' list, seems 3rd parties are really taking Bandai to town producing the kits people actually want. I'm all for it, I've really transitioned away from Bandai to Daban, DM, and others over the last year or so.
Not such a bad idea, provided the frame doesn't need altering. I have a Takumi in the backlog as well. I got rid of my BandaiJagd Dogas in favour of Daban.
@@paktahn on the contrary, i hope they continue making models as Bandai has been doing a piss poor job of maintaining their IPs these past few years and making less and less products as well as horrible investments in games or web services that last less than a year and they’ve more or less left themselves wide open to be overtaken by other companies in giving us what we want that Bandai wont
@@paktahn lmao are u the same guy who blabbered about IP theft in reddit? honestly bandai doesnt seem to care anymore about giving what fans want. they have become complacent
@@AwesomeToysTVi already pre order the snaa, what's ur prediction it will be shipped, I'm in SEA area too. I only pre-order bandai, so I don't know how long its going to take since its initial release. Got info from my girl in china it cost around 45 yuan
@@maxnexus5421 don’t bother with this guy. He has a few comments on here already about that and one even included a racist rant at the end for some reason.
This actually isn't the first time a third-party company released a MG that Bandai hasn't released before. Dragon Momoko released Testament and Astray Out Frame way before Bandai. And Daban also made a Mars Jacket.
SNAA is looking really promising. After building third party kits, the good ones, it's hard to look at a Bandai MG and feel like it's up to scratch in terms of detail. And nowadays quality of fit is as good as bandai sometimes, better. I'm looking at you Caliban's horribly misaligned out of the box crotch piece.
The Calibarn issue seems to be either up to luck or that you're not supposed to sand down the nubs so much. Mine is completely fine but some people encounter the same problem.
@@AwesomeToysTV I usually shop aliexpress or gundammit, I worked out 'solomon' so I'll just have to keep an eye out (saw preorder on a Thai site). I'm in Australia. Thanks for the great work mate.
If Supernova Master Grade continue they're work like they release the Metal Build Version of Epyon or Tallgeese 3. That would be a game changer just like Dragon Momoko did 10 years ago. For me this is not would work it looks off to me. Daban would nailed the MB Destiny but the problem is so much expensive for a bootleg. Let's see 2023 is the year of bootleg and I'm excited for 2024 released.
Yeah its pretty on the nose color wise. But let's face it, an RG or something equivalent from IBO probably isn't happening any time soon, and if it was it wouldn't be for the Asmoday.
