@@cbsracing Thank you for the video. I have classic car with Lexus 3UZ engine in it will a longer custom exhaust better than a pipe ends at the mid of the car? Also, what dimeter pipe exhaust you would recommend? Also, adding 2 mufflers will it help with back pressure or you recommend deleting the mufflers? - forget about the sound. Looking for more torque mainly. Many thanks!

@@thaieralawadh2223 Hi there, Stock and after headers length of the exhaust, or amount of mufflers does not matter as long as you have good flow. We used 2x 2,5inch to 1x 3-inch pipe on that car :) / CBS Racing

Hey quick question hope it’s answered, but how did you guys get the engine to run and work with the gauges and stuff? I’m really considering this swap in my car just for the reliability and sounds trying to get rid of my 2jz is there a special harness I need to buy for this and if possible can you list a build sheet on what you needed to just get the engine to run and drive in the car? Wait a minute .. You swapped it in along with the auto gearbox? Which one is it? A340 or A650? Another thing, what kind of money are we talking here for the swap? Assuming the customer has the donor engine and gearbox.

I've been trying to find where the camshaft position sensors are located on the 3UZ-FE. I have code P1340 and I ordered replacement sensor and I cannot figure out where to put it. I've done extensive searching online and not having any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 2003 LS430

Got a quick question...I have a 06 gs430 hard downshifting from 2nd to 1st gear...no codes or check engine light...only once was a solenoid b stuck code but just that once...do you guys flash ECU...forums say that is the way to go...much improved performance than factory...what would you recommend...

Hi there, We would recommend a professional diagnosis for the hard shifting. And ECU flashing for 'much-improved performance' is not possible on stock ECU. :)

Awesome swap! Did you use the 5-speed (A650E) or 6-speed (A761E) transmission? I'm very interested in which parts are absolutely needed for that swap, like the propshaft etc. Is the propshaft an OEM product or custom? Thanks in advance

Is the lexus IS lighter or heavier with the 1uz/3uz compared with the original 1G? These V8s were suposed to be light and the 6 cylinder 1G heavy.

Because there's really no reason UZ swaps shouldn't be as easy or sought after as LS's at this point. Plug n play crossmodel ecu+cluster combos would change the game

Hi, we 'recycled' the old IS200 hoses and GS hoses. And the AC lines are custom work :)

You are more than welcome to be the 93rd! Our channel is quite new.. We are trying to make more time to create more content :D . For this specific build, it was around 8K. For everything happening in the video according to customer wishes :). We kept the original diff (costumer choice/money things)- However, we don't recommend it. Aaaand it also didn't last long xD it has been replaced since. And no, he's not drifting this car - but we did this same swap to our own driftcar. Thank you so much! The customer preferred to keep it automatic, and for a daily driver/cruiser we think is more enjoyable aswell :) Our own IS430 went from auto to manual.

you can use the stock j160 6 speed if you don't boost the 3uz, there are multiple fairly cheap adapter kits out there. it's very easy to fit, it's a lovely gearbox, and it can hold the power a stock 1uz or 3uz makes. stock diff usually can't though, and the ratio is quite short. so a stronger and slightly longer diff makes sense.

I wouldn’t be negative because ultimately, if the owner loves it then that’s all that matters. But is all that worth it for just 300hp? I would have gone with a more powerful V8.
