i needed this because a 2x2 gold farm was causing piglins to phase through walls and kill me while afk. hope this works efficently enough to no die tryna afk

Could have made it much cheaper, but using carpets is nice. I thought they broke when pushed by pistons. Thanks for this knowledge

does not work since mobs can now push thrown tridents. only working one is 2x2

so i have an issue with mine that i dont understand. because i have tested and used this design on a test world for a gold farm and it works perfectly. but when i got on my survival one with same farm and same design. every block the same. it breaks and quits working randomly. i dont get it. same world settings aswell. only difference is location and world seed

best tip i can give is if you want to use the trident killer with impaling enchantment is replace the carpets with trapdoors (iron trapdoors are better atleast for me, but u can use any type of trapdoors) but first, put water on the last layer before the pistons(2nd to the last layer), you can put the water on any side but make sure that it covers the whole 3x3 area above the layer of the tridents this will kill the mobs faster impaling 5 is the best enchantment for tridents since it can kill most mobs with a single hit i use 1 trident on each trapdoor so that’s 3 tridents on my gold farm (im bad at explaining stuff but i hope this helps)

I use this trident killer on my gold farm with 2 tridents, and my only problem is that the farm produces so many piglins that it breaks the trident killer and you have to completely reset the farm and set the tridents and carpets back in place, any fixes?

adding a forth carpet/trapdoor seems to up the efishancy, they move round as a square, unalign themselves when its turned off but go back to square when you turn it back on. Nice tutorial.

I can't get this to work for enderman, works for other mobs I've tested but not enderman for some reason

Why do the trident keep doing zero damage

Does this still work on the new update or do mobs push the trident around? If it still does is there a way to afk and collect the xp from the mobs?
