why not just shovel sand directly in the turbo while on rev limiter? SMH... i will never understand the wasting good engines culture they have going on. makes my heart bleed to see that most of these sand dune climb cars for example didnt even last 2 seconds because all the sand is going directly into the turbos. i hate this beyond measure.

@@CBMedia404 Same. We're (wife, 2 young kids, me) planning starting a more nomadic life in Thailand this summer, but there's still a lot of moving parts at play. A lot of other countries are like Thailand with the constantly changing rules, so we're just gonna float like plankton in the surf.

Way to many countries signed onto the WEF evil director Klaus Schaub's reset. As soon as more people figure this out and take a stand the better. Go do a bit of research. Perfect ending to a video. Used to go to the sand drags in the Pacific Northwest when I was a kid on the Columbia river. Never forgot those experiences. Might need to return to Dubai and check this out for myself. Great work Chad

When we used to race top fuel at the sand drags in California it was a 1000 ft. track in 3.3 to 4 seconds.

Finally came up in my feed today, BADASS We had sand drags here in Oregon during the 70s @ Sandlake. There were top fuel funny cars with 4 huge paddle tires on them. They took the event from us long ago. I know I'm old but I'm still a sand flee at heart. I'm going to have to get a t shirt.

Out of interest, does anyone have an idea on what the running cost is of that 4000hp machine. I can imagine rubber probably lasts a while on the sand but the wet costs (fuel, oil, nitrous etc) must be crazy high?

It's probably about the same as running a similar powered drag car in the states. Same motors, trans, chassis and so on.

Love Sand drag racing. Used to do it quite a bit along with mud Drag Racing. Most of the modified to open class mud drag racers run the same setup but with larger paddle tires including the wheelie bar. Nmro member from years ago.

Shades of summers spent at Silver Lake sand dunes, and the sand drags down the road from the dunes... The 'Deep Pockets' crowd has been running cars like these at Silver Lake for some years now - awesome to behold!
