I faced a highlander mage yesterday and their prime cast pyroblast, two fireballs, frost bolt, and some other spell, all after playing doomsayer the turn before to ensure that I wouldn’t try to fill the board. I would have died from 29 hp (perfect number for a finishing ping to kill me from 30 instead) if I wasn’t already just dead to the opening chain of double fireball for 14 damage. What if there wasn’t randomly 29 burn damage going out or they just died after me since once your opponent dies and their board is empty the prime’s random spells start hitting any targets (the prime pyroblasted them for 11). If the last spell had just been another pyroblast on their face given that their board only had the prime (which already absorbed a frost bolt) it would have been a tie. That is the end of the story of why I crafted Reno the relicologist and started playing highlander mage today.

i love purple as a secondary commentator. hes so sarcastic, cynical, and jaded, that he makes a stark contrast to the usual optimism and hype of zalae. the dong to zalaes ding. the personification of a smug anime girl jpg.

That control warrior looks really fun! It's unfortunate I wont be able to play it because I refuse to pay for Acivisions outrageous prices.

Warrior is a class that is fun to play together. Cause you have all this value and you can make fun how you become fat (in armor), while your opponent dying. But it's kinda boring to play this alone :(
