They also introduced the first Paladin class exclusive Murloc a looong time after Murloc Shaman was an established archetype, and despite the archetype being something that came about naturally, Shamans and Murlocs fit together pretty well I would say. But screw that, because they thought Paladins and Murlocs together were hilarious.

I am not a usual commenter, but I am a longterm follower of THE MADMAN for the last five years. I still love the content but I am so dimayed that Trump, the midrange Paladin hero from the Quartermaster era is playing a murloc deck! I kid. It's been a few years since I've had the time to play and your content was an inspiration when I could play and is a constant reminder of a great part of my past. Thank you for the SCIENCE. Sometimes it's correct to hold the sungill until turn 2 if you have the navigator in your opener! Coldlight seer is the best card in the deck! Righteous cause is a solid include! I got legend with this deck and I strongly believe it is the best deck in the game!

I love the idea of making a deck with such bad minions that your opponent doesn’t think anything is worth playing. Don’t have to worry about twin tyrant when every card in your deck has like 2 health and you have sliver hand recruits at all times.

Both shamans and Paladins are innately token classes due to their hero power. That's why they both got murlocs. Hearthstone is a mechanics driven game moreso than lore.

I don't know how Trump repeatedly mentions that the deck is consistently played at lower winrates because of how easy it is without mentioning that it's the first deck he's showcased in multiple months that has only 1 legendary. Every deck nowadays runs at least 3, with Maiev, Zephrys, Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, and many others being mainstays in most meta decks.

Before the second nerfs the meta were fine, now its a cancer party; Murloc Paladin, Galakrond Rogue, Tempo Demon Hunter, Face Hunter. I even called it, good that I went Legend before the nerfs and now I wait until new expansion or a new nerf.

@@aizensosuke5749 Wouldnt make sense if I played with DH and complain now, because he is still good, I thought of playing Priest, but I miss too many cards, in the end I played Galakrond Warlock, isnt a 100% control deck, but still enjoyed it alot, went Legend with 32 victories 7 losses. I just hate this hyper aggro decks.

I love to play against aggro paladin decks. 90 percent winrate :D Just minions easy often easy to remove (I play gala secret rogue) For example against mage or hunter its disgusting they have hero powers and spells and silly deathrattles, not so easy to defend against.

As a Demon Hunter player, I love going against this deck. Seeing murlocs is so fun, but the aggro of Demon Hunter drastically outpaces Murloc Paladin. You rarely feel pressured against this given that the dynamic of DH is built around attacking with your hero, so Umberwing and Aldrachi Warglaives are seriously crippling for the Paladin, with Altruis just devastating any board presence that comes out later
