romy It is called a tail tie. Some horses flip their tail up in the drivers vision or just move it around too much during the race, so we just loosely tie the tail to the racebike to keep it out of the way. Thanks for the question.

Honestly i thought it was gonna be abuse but i didnt see anything wrong so good ride and thx for sharing. The horse looked in great condition so did the tack. Also you didnt look like you was there for the money wich made me happy to see! No whipping hard so honestly ill like the video!! 😊

scotty m Nonwe don’t use that bike anymore. We never used it race much anyhow, that filly just used it to qualify. I have had about 4 bikes since then lol. I have a Spyder Elite I use regularly now. Thanks for watching!!

It depends if the horse is fully trained. It would kick if you are doing something stupid like whipping it to death. But a fully trained horse they would not kick.

Their tails are supposed to be tied in little bunches ,since when they are riding it will flick in their face and the bag is for if they do the toilet in the persons face.

coming from an equestrian myself, if you are really so backwards you will jump on and tear apart racing of any kind yet participate in equestrian sport yourself you really need to check your hypocrisy. what looks bad in racing is just the tip of the iceberg in other eq sports. end it with the cognitive dissonance already and do your research
bruh they are trained for that, I think it's way better than normal racing, where they are crossing the limits and it's so dangerous... This horse don't look abused lol, but maybe he shouldn't pull too much on reins, I understand that you're not riding him, so you can really control him with your body, but I think that horse knows what to do... Harness racing isn’t horse abuse🙄. Might as well say everything is horse abuse. And the breed of a the horse is a Standardbred pacer this is literally what they do
