4.2L Stroker Barra making 1400HP on the street running 7's ! Ep5 

Haha !! Yeah.. I used to have one with the factory sunroof (LTD badge on bonnet)...They went well in a straight line...but stopping and turning....not so much.

I had the TD 4:1 litre 4 speed as well. Was going to attempt to put a 289 V8 into it then thought the better of it.

@@ianm6204 Nice.... a mate of mine actually shoehorned the Ford 4.9 V8 into his. It worked really well because the V8 is shorter than the 6. Handling was improved significantly....until he slid it into a lamp post....

@@ianm6204 they came out factory in South Africa with a v8(289 Windsor if I'm not mistaken) pretty standard engine swap, works very well for the Cortina with lots of them done. I've seen 302's and 351's put in them as well.

I did the same except i had twin side drafts. She went hard but still 1100hp short of this barra! They were amazing burnout machines though, my dad wasn't too happy with me haha.

No Aussie on their right would have a 4 cylinder cortical !!! 4.1 litre straight 6 minimum

I’m fortunate enough to say I’ve been for a lap in this thing… hands down the fastest car I have EVER and probably ever will be in… the thing is an absolute bullet!!!!! The G force alone when it comes on boost is almost enough to crush your rib cage
