If my ex had not got into a rebound relationship I would have waited. I filed for divorce once I found out he was in a relationship. There is no way I was willing to go through the pain of infidelity.
Some days I feel like I should just stop trying to get her back. But something ALWAYS happens that gets me back on track. She contacts me, sends me pictures…deep down I think she misses me, and with each passing day she sees that the grass wasn’t greener. I think what we had was special, and she’s starting to realize it too. My life must go on without her, but I won’t ever give up hope. I’m in a marathon, not a sprint.Is she worth it? Yes.
@@timothymurray1236 It’s been back and forth through text, and I went to her place for coffee, and that was great. But I’ve reached a point where I’m comfortable letting her go. It’s a freedom I haven’t had in awhile. She sends me pictures of her and her family…and the last one was a memory from Facebook w me and her son. She’s pulled back, and I haven’t talked to her in over a week, but it feels good to be ok w that. My life has to move forward, and if she comes back, great. If she doesn’t I don’t feel like I’ll be lost. Couldn’t say that even a month ago. I’m not contacting her, she an reach out to me.

He moved out in Feb. never moved his garage stuff and his mother died so he’s kinda needed time he said and soon he said he’s going to get it. We hooked up once between then and now. And then I got really frustrated and flipped out. And he’s like been hot and cold and now he said “this is why it doesn’t work for me and we are not getting back together.” He told me he loved me and my daughter still but that didn’t mean we we needed to be together. :( I’m so emotional and now I’m going NC. It’s been a week. I’m letting him be. I agreed with the breakup and I told him I was done and am now taking my power back. I’m not chasing or anything. Pulling back entirely and letting him be.
Similar to my situation I doubt he’s coming back & im so sad he was so fucked up to me. I didn’t realize he was over me while he was with me. We were together for 5 yrs too. On & off towards the end
@@auds_e7 make sure to truly focus on yourself and leave him completely alone. Send him healing and unconditional love. Mines been sniffing around but nothing has seemed to change and I can’t go back to a person who is half in like that. It’s either all in and he heals and grows or nothing. And he’s hurt me so bad. At this point I’m ok moving on. I love him but theMore time passes the stronger and more distant I become.

That’s good wish I was ok moving on. Im embarrassed that I let him treat me so bad and he’s hurt me so bad yet im still not over him but I am trying to move on. Im still scared for him to be with someone else though and other people think im dumb for not being over him & being too sad. But im gonna try to take care of myself & not focus on him.
@@auds_e7 I entirely am with you. I feel the exact same. :( I can’t imagine him with anyone :( it would destroy me. But I’m just living my life now and not chasing. The worst you can do is chase and beg or text them. Just leave them alone. Live your life. Better yourself and work on your attachment style. Send him love and healing and try and stay out of the ego. I know it’s easy to resent and hate and be sad and angry. :( I was for months. It’s been since Feb. :( I saw him yesterday and he did my breaks and afterwards I just cut it short and left immediately. I don’t want to be around him unless he is showing up entirely or wanting to go all in. It’s everything or nothing bc I’m done giving my energy to someone like that. Even if they are a twin flame. If we break up eventually, because life changes or whatnot, then so be it. But it won't be because it didn't work this time.

This is so hard for me to determine I screwed up a few weeks after break up I didn’t know if she wanted to really keep in contact anxiety got the best of me she told me to move on and now we aren’t talking but sometimes looks at my snaps so I feel I messed up my chance
If you look at all the relationship yes most don't come back. (that's probably the case of your past relationships too) But for the ones that matter then there is always a time when people reconnect.
There is this website that says no contact doesn't work for dismissive avoidant exes. I don't really talk to them after the break up but I still see their Instagram stories and occasionally like their stories. I wonder if that's a good enough compromise between no contact and breaking no contact?
No contact does work on anyone but there is times that going no contact can hurt the relationship more than help, example, with a DA… they could be trying to meet your needs in their own way but maybe you are so hurt from the past and you don’t notice it and you go no contact with them out of hurt and pain that you never openly discussed with them…. Well you have now triggered their abandonment issues by just ghosting them and that is one way NC will not work in your favor…. Another reason is if you’re using NC to prove a point, to manipulate the situation out of spite… NC should only be done for yourself to heal and grow
