Spent many nights over the years maintaining the Hydro tower line you guys followed. Stayed in the hydro camp on the line just inside of Rainy Lake in the late 80's early 90's, usually late March, April and even into May . We had 3 camps on the line between Buchan's and Grand Lake and one on Glover Island ... still there not used anymore. Weather was certainly unpredictable once you hit the plateau. Great video ... Great grub for sure !
Hey Andrew! Man oh man, what a camp. You guys don't mess around. I'd live at that camp. Nothing says a great weekend at the camp like lots of food. And food will always taste better at the camp. Thanks guys for taking us along.
Most beautiful video loved it,,, long time since seeing a storm like that, 45 yrs in Alberta, seen storms yes but not like NL,,, thanks for the video,, yes I gained weight watching the good food,,, lol God Bless
They certainly enjoyed there trip I think. Some lovely feeds they had. The cook certainly can do a awesome job. Make sure you tell him I said. To much snow on the trip but they didn't seem to mind. Tuff crowd.
Just came across your channel. Subscribed within the first ten seconds of the intro. Absolutely awesome camp! I'm down here in South Carolina. But I'd layer up and make that trip just for the food.
Your videos continue to rock, man! Every one seems better than the last. The Girlfriend and I love watching this stuff. Thanks for posting, and I got you a shout out in my latest video. Hope you get some traffic. Keep up the good work!
