4 Dead After Violent Crash | LOS ANGELES, CA 6.16.23

Pretty safe to say that speed played a factor in this incident.

These are jobs my stomach and mind couldn't tolerate. Condolences to the families.

People need to think twice before getting into a car of a so called “professional” street racer.

Prayers for all that were impacted by this accident. Families and friends of victims, and of course our first responders! Our first responders never get these scenes out of their heads. My dad was a cop for 20 years, and he saw some pretty horrific things. He died of a heart attack at the age of 65, and I often wonder just how much his job contributed to what I consider his untimely passing... Much respect 🙏💙💜❤🙏

I would say the odds are high that alcohol was involved.

An accident that violent and horrific, trust and believe, at least a few other motorists definitely witnessed it happen! So sad 😢

I wonder if this is around slauson ave. The majority of fatal crashes recently have occurred on that mile stretch. It makes me very curious. But I am very sorry that 4 lives are lost. May they all rest in peace

On my way home from LAX very early Sunday morning, two cars passed me flying on the 605, a dark mustang and a white Mercedes, I could tell they were inexperienced to say the least, just by the driving style observed, 3 miles later, major accident, involving one other car who was probably just driving along being dumb going 65 zoned out in the fast lane driving somewhat normally, just over a hilly section of road with a downhill section of road. Im all for having a little fun but don’t turn yourself into a suicide bomber by not knowing when to let up man WTF!!! I predicted I was going to see some sheeeit just because it was LA and guess what, there it was…

Wow. What a horrific accident. It's in my neck of the woods where I grew up. That freeway hasn't gotten any safer with time, that's for sure. 50 years later, that area hasn't changed much, and I can still map out that area in my mind. Sorry for those that lost their lives.

I live along the 10. It sounds like mid night club at all hours of the night.

People in California drive like they're immortal. No one is safe out there.

Many peeps run red lights, and I'm so glad that my 🚙 has extra powerful breaks and that my 🧠 reaction is very fast.

I am a first responder the thing that pisses me off the most is when I get to a scene and I see a person on top of the car or out of the car I say why the hell did you not wear a dam seat belt use them their for a reason stop being stupied

Looks like they stopped at the onramp merge and got rear ended. Drivers are normally accelerating here.

There is plenty of room in the coroner van due to the hydraulic lift that raises the departed so more can be stowed below. @ 8:40.
