Thank you for this video and the thought on a budget. It's funny about the speaking into the mic. One time I did that by mistake. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Very very very good. Wow!!!!
Hey Paula. We all make mistakes. Myself included. I would sometimes get my gain settings incorrect on my camera and clip the audio in louder parts of the video. Thankfully the CONNECT 6 auto setup prevents this. Glad you found this video useful!
@Warp: I appreciate the effort in this video, but confused on one important point. At 9:42 you show how to use the Connect 6 with a phone, and mention this allows you to "ditch the laptop". Except it looks to me like the only way to configure the Connect 6 is with the Lewitt Control Center program that requires a computer, right? There's no way to configure the Connect 6 it for mobile using just the Connect 6 and your phone, is that right? So if you're going in the field, where you're most apt to use your phone and leave your computer behind, you might get there and discover that your Connect 6 is configured wrong -- then what?
Thanks for the comment! So yes you need to configure the CONNECT 6 first using the computer just to enable the mobile out. Then you don’t need the computer as the CONNECT 6 will remember the settings. If you get something wrong you can use the knob on the interface to change input or output levels. I don’t think there is a way to configure the mobile out without using Control Center but I could be wrong. The idea is to get it up once and then it should be good to take into the field.
@@warpacademy Yes exactly. Well said. All routing needs to be done in Control Center, but settings are retained after disconnecting from a laptop. So you can setup your template, disconnect and use CONNECT 6 with only a mobile phone.
