I have this shear (and a bigger one) - but I use this for slicing custom sized find silver and sterling bezel wires when I need extra muscle in my bezels. Hard to cut a thin strip from a thin strip, but if you buy whet - which I do, it's great to just whip out a exact bezel strip. 4" is all I need for my bezel max length. They are not cheap and most people will not get one seeing that it will not be worth it for them. I do know of some people would use this to save time and make things a lot faster with less stress over cutting the metal. 😁👍
