Step 3 is wrong mate. You can view 3 months of P+L in the app easily. 1. In the app, click "my bets" tab at the bottom. 2. At the top , click "settled" 3. Moving down, under "view" click "group by market" 4. Just under group by market, click "show profit and loss" 5. Under choose a date range, choose today, last 7 days, last 30 days or last 3 months.
Hi Mark, I was aware of the "my bets" tab but wasn't aware of the "group by market" and show "profit and loss" sections, so thank you for pointing it out! However, this app version does have some flaws (typical Betfair) which make it much worse to use than the desktop version I outlined in tip 3 of this video. For a start in the drop down list to select "Sport", the only options I have are "All" or "Football", there is no way to distinguish between the other sports/special events I have traded during this time frame. Perhaps this is just a bug with this version of the app, I would be interested to know if this occurs for you as well. The second flaw is that you can't quickly move between pages of your results. For example, over the past 3 months I have 167 pages of football results in the P&L tab, but on the mobile version I can't select to view "Page X of 167", instead the only options you have are "Next" or "Previous"...very frustrating as I'm not going to sit and press next 167 times when it can be achieved instantly on the desktop version accessible through the browser. Thank you for pointing this out though, it is definitely an improvement on the "Transaction History". I will still be using the method I showed in Tip 3 for the reasons I just elucidated and for the overall faster responsiveness compared to that of the slow and clunky mobile app.
Hello Kie , first of all thank u for a great video. Basically I'm interested in accessing the p&l tracker u mentioned in Tip 2. I'm quite experienced on the betfair exchange and have been profitable for a few years now. But I'm not the best when it comes to the latest technology etc and I do struggle with even the basics so gaining access to your p&l tracker would really be beneficial as it is a pain tat betfair only let u pull up 3 months worth of bets. Anyway all I need to no is what patron membership I need just to gain access to your tracker as I'm an experienced trader and would not need any other help. Thanks and take care.
Thank you for this beautiful video, but betfair is not available in my country. I registered and when I make a deposit, it is not allowed because I do not live in the UK. Is there a better site than it?
Kie great video lots of tips . You should try focusing on Tennis as the Odds move point by point no swing trade like football really on a goal what if there's no goal or penalties for underdog . Tennis is easier and it's the same team/ person every match unlike football squad rotation and injuries
I have found that I do much better betting and trading on sports that I enjoy watching, which makes sense because of all the knowledge you have about that sport. I have never been the biggest of tennis fans for whatever reason which is why I haven't done much with it, but I could be open to looking at in the future.
Well I have seen AOHW or AOAW at odds of 12 and 0-0 also priced at 12. This is most bizarre. As your maths is better than mine maybe you could comment on that. To me it indicates that laying 0-0 is a good idea
Hello brother can you please tell me what software you use for automatically matching you with bets on betfair(the one which you used for laying 1.01 odds bets) is there any membership for accessing the software which you use? Thanks
Question for Tip 1 - If i place a Back bet and Lay bet with the intention of pocketing the difference - wont Betfair dock 2% off whichever (back or Lay) stake had won? . Ie i punt £100 back and lay £240 and net differential (80p say) - Betfair then takes £2 off commision from the winning £100 bet?
No it's 2% of the overall profit on that particular market (all profits and losses added together). If market is an overall loss then no commission. Your example would be 2% x 80p.
