"Solar Selfie" Here is a 4-hour time-lapse of the solar big storm that caused this week's auroras! This was taken yesterday and right at the end, you can see ANOTHER solar flare. This is a solar selfie because all of the computers, cameras and telescopes were solar-powered. The big storm is called AR (active region) 3664 and the smaller one to the top left is called AR3675. The planet Earth is about the size of the medium-sized sunspots on these images.
