i am from puducherry , have so many bihar people immigrating here even though they havent found a job . pretty annoying to see them misbehave in public . we have a lot of french people living here and my neighbours are malayalis but they are very respectfull and decent unlike biharis living here

@Jainam jain Yes, India has more GDP and less per capita income than Singapore. Which shows India as a powerful country and Singapore as a good lifestyle country at this time.....The country which will have the most GDP will be a superpower. Per capita income is not everything. Mostly population of many states is dependent on jobs that is why per capita income matters there. But in UP mostly population lives in villages and dependent on Agriculture and herding etcextra. People fill their stomach by the grains, milk and eggs which is grown or produced by themselves and these things are not included in per capita income because the things they eat are not sold to increase the per capita income_Here per capita income matters for only the people who live in the cities that is why GDP of UP is enough and this is the reason no one lives here in slums except few handful people. Mostly people of UP live in the villages and eat good, healthy, natural food on the other hand people of many states where per capita is high in the comparison of UP are struggling to survive due to expencive environment.......Many people live there in slums which shows that in those states mostly part of GDP is in the pockets of some handful billionaires and millionaires.......

I would say that now UP is faring pretty well, the only problem is its population. If UP were to be divided into three or more states, development would increase drastically.

the BJP government is actually doing work, economy is better than before though all the decades of corruption will take years to get removed, rn BJP in UP is mostly focusing on removing mafias (thats why you often hear of yogi "bulldozer baba"), secondly BJP needs a stronger foothold in UP before it actually starts introducing reforms, because if they dont do that, SP would stop all the progress and bring UP back to square one. UP also has seen plenty of Investor summits since bjp came to power, along with a defense expo, all the population of UP can be very useful when UP is properly industrialized, cheap labor would abundant, and the people would get jobs...

Kerela is as much overpopulated as UP and Bihar but still among the best performing state of India. Overpopulation is a consequence of poverty, NOT necessarily it's cause.

@@pratapsinghkanishk 1. It will help in the equal distribution of funds. We all know that East UP and Bundelkhand region is so much underdeveloped and backward as compared to the West UP. It's coz of the unequal distribution of the funds. 2. It will help in the better management. Population of Pakistan is 19.7 crores and that of Brazil is 20.93 crores. And the population of UP alone is 20.42 crores. So it's actually extremely tough to administer such a big state both population and area wise. 3. UP has different dialects of Hindi language. It will help people to be more distinct about their linguistic identity. 4. It will help in focussing on the backward areas in the given region with better efficiency. Right now there are many backward areas but only a few get developed due to regional bias of the politicians. 5. When lack of infrastructure in the region will be identified and fund will be available in a better amount, it will lead to more development hence more jobs and employment and therefore better GDP. I think this way the region of UP can prosper better and fast. What do u think?

Most of the South Indian taxes goes to the north states like up and Bihar. Eg: for every 100rs a person from tamilnadu pays.. he gets only average of RS 40 from center but a person from up gets RS 140 for every 100 RS he pays .
