Not to copy other comments But, yes magical ,Loved the night shots good effort ,where was you when the sunset like Mrs C great shot .Liked the colour pics rather than the B&W . Agood allround shoot and a very good series of your holidays , Well done ,catch you again one day on the rd. take care stay safe.BTW Tell Mrs C she looks ok any time of day :)

Its a great location. Slight preference for the colour ones. Nice shots all round. I break that central horizon line 'rule' all the time, in fact I think the rule of thirds doesn't ever cross my mind regarding composition. Its 'what do I want in' and 'what do I want out' of the shot.

@@paulcomptonpdphotography Yeah, I shoot quite a lot of colour, Kodak Gold 200 mainly but I have been crazy enough to shoot sunsets in black & white as well 🤷‍♂️

@@paulcomptonpdphotography Not a great success but an interesting light flare across the loch and hills. I was more interested in spotting the otter that had left fresh tracks .... not successful either.

NIce variation of shots of that lighthouse and like that you added some history as well. Isn't it funny how often our last shot of the day turns out the best. Good lesson on patience and not giving up!

Just found your video which I have enjoyed watching especially as Dovercourt home of the two lighthouses, is only a 30 minute drive from my home. Also that Dovercourt is in the county of Essex, next to the port of Harwich. So your your tour finished in Essex not Suffolk in case any of your viewers are thinking of visiting. Although I have since noticed you finished your holiday with another video at Osea also in Essex.

At first I thought, no way you can make that tower look pleasing. Then, a few glimpses of a generally acceptable image, followed at the end by some really interesting and well done images. You turned nothing into lovely images, that’s what great photographers do Paul! Outstanding and Mrs C had a nice shot as well. Loved the both of you at the end of the video as team PDCompton made another over the top video! 🏆 Loved it/from California 😆!!

Hi Cara, I think I just moved the colour sliders in Lightroom to see what a difference it made to the image and quite liked the warmer colour.

For me, the shot at 2:51 is one of your best that I have seen so far. Just a fantastic long exposure. I definitely like the colour version of the 2nd photo better. And a really lovely shot by Denise at 14:04! Well done to both of you! Hope you both are doing well over there. Great video mate, really enjoyed it!
