My surgery date is June 2024 and I just stumbled upon this video. Just want to thank you for your energy and your motivation. I feel blessed watching you live the life we both have been praying for. Thank you and I hope you are well!!
I feel so much of what you are saying! I had my VSG surgery on 12/05/2023. I am 2 months post op now and stuck at 202.8, I was 260 before starting my journey. You are a great motivator! I feel so much better about where I am right now after watching this video! Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching!! And congratulations on your surgery! This process is sooo much more mental than physical!! Keep pushing you got this! 💪🏾💪🏾
Girl!! You are definitely a great motivator! I have been putting this surgery off for the last couple of years, telling myself that I can do this on my own and it has not happened. I've finally made the decision to go through with the surgery and am scheduled to have it next month. Watching your videos has definitely encouraged me to move forward and begin my journey and I just want to thank you for sharing your journey with us!
Aw thank you!! 🙏🏾 I’m so proud of you for making the choice to move forward. It can be a really tough decision but you deserve to feel healthy, happy, & have the body you want! ❤️
Hi! It’s me. You were talking to me. I have been on the fence for over a year now. When I think about where I could be but here I am in the exact same spot, it could just kick myself. But thanks to your words of encouragement that resonated so loudly with me, I am calling to schedule my consultation first thing in the morning.
Hi! 👋🏾 Congratulations on taking the 1st step! This journey is so mental and can be extremely scary! But I promise you won’t regret making this decision for yourself. You got this! 💪🏾
New Subscriber here ❤ I just found your channel & have been binge watching today! I wasn't going to comment but your talk starting at 31:51 was soooo helpful & encouraging. It felt like you were speaking directly to me. I've watched many videos to prepare me for my surgery date (Feb 23!!!) but I've been feeling very nervous about it. My anxiety has been through the roof. And I even thought about canceling it! But listening to your encouragement just pumped me up! It felt like a friend was speaking to me and now I'm crying happy tears because I'm ready for this journey. Thank you so much for uploading this video. It was exactly what I needed to hear. All of the tips were so helpful. And I can't wait to watch your 5mo & 6mo update. And more as you upload. Please continue to keep us updated because I am now on this journey with you. Every video after this I will give a like and comment a ❤ to let you know I appreciate these vids.
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️ & congratulations on your upcoming surgery! This was truly the best thing I could’ve done for myself! Trust me you won’t regret it! You are doing this for you, & you alone. Feb 23 will be here before you know it! I pray you have a safe surgery and a speedy recovery! 🙏🏾❤️
😭😭 This video was very information dense and I love you for it! Last month I booked my VSG for February 2024 in Turkey (I'm from the UK). I really hope and pray you keep uploading updates even if they're short to keep us posted because our stats are pretty similar. You said some really real shi in the end there. I've always been +Size through undergrad, post grad, certification, terrible marriage then raising young kids by myself and I always had 'great' reasons why I didn't have the time or mental capacity to commit to being healthier and my weight spiraled to 240lbs. The truth is I've just always been scared I'd fail the vsg like I fail diets. Food is the only thing I've failed in life (except my divorce lol but that felt like a win) anyway enough rambling, I wanted you to know how appreciated this video is. I'm a real person and you really encouraged me today. Thank you 💕
I will absolutely keep posting! I’m telling you, you won’t regret it. I have so much joy knowing that I made a decision for myself that will positively affect me forever! This decision is for you, & you alone. You deserve to be healthy and have the body you want! Congratulations on booking your surgery! 🎉 I pray you have a successful surgery! Also, you are getting surgery at the perfect time, by summer you will already feel like a new person! Thanks for watching! ❤
Loved your video…you look so great and confident. I’m so excited for my vsg journey, scheduled my first consultation. 2024 is the year of new beginnings. God Bless and keep sharing.☺️
@srae7658 My surgery went very well, I had no complications whatsoever. I was the first surgery for the day so I was out in recovery by 8:30am. I know many individuals have struggled with pain and gas after but I can honestly say I didn't have any trouble with either. I left the hospital the next day after I was able to sip enough liquids and walk around without help. I went back to work on day seven no issues - I work from home so it's convenient. I am still on liquids only but I have an appointment tomorrow so I am hoping I will be upgraded to soft foods lol
Omg this is me, been trying to get out of the 200s for like 4 years. Yo-yo dieting and exercise routines don’t work…. I even did weight watchers and could not stay disciplined like some of these fitness influencers. This is the best thing for me, to literally force me to make a huge change. Im looking for to it, my 18 year old body again or maybe better, once I incorporate exercise and I have more energy to workout once weight starts dropping and I feel better about my weight. You look amazing! I truly can’t wait for my results, it’s not a sprint ❤
Thank you! ❤ It’s definitely a marathon but this journey is just different! You have sooo much peace when you know for a fact something is finally working! I wish you nothing but success on your journey!
Hey! Go for it! It’s literally the best decision I’ve made. From what I’ve learned once you reach your goal weight, up your calories and you should be able to maintain.
Congratulations on making it to onederland. I know it's an amazing feeling. I just had my surgery 10/18. So I look forward to seeing those numbers soon!!!
Loved all your tips! I'm 6 weeks post op and also went to Mexico. I agree with you with the grabber lol You don't realize how often you drop things all day until you can't bend over to pick it up! I also love Lume! For the calcium, check out the Procare dark chocolates too. They feel like such a treat! They are more pricey than the chews (and they sell out quicker) so I don't have one everyday to try and make them last longer.
Thank you! & congratulations on your surgery! I absolutely love the grabber I still use it sometimes to get things off the top shelf because I’m short lol I definitely need to check out those chocolates!
Love your vibe and energy!! My taste buds didn’t really change either but ready made protein shakes sat heavy on my stomach. And yes girl I loved the heating pad and reacher!
Thank you! & I totally understand, that’s how I am with plain water, it sits so heavy in my stomach still. They were true life savers lol Congratulations on your journey! 😊
Hi! Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m scheduled to have VSG surgery in Mexico in December. Can you tell me if you were able to take care of yourself by yourself (shower, restroom, etc. ) I live alone and no one knows I’m having surgery. I’m relatively a healthy person. I’m scared because I watched a video and the blog said she could do anything on her own .
Hi! I went to Mexico by myself as well. The nurses at my facility were extremely helpful. I also pre-scheduled wheel chair service for the airport. I was able to shower, use the restroom, & take care of myself by moving slow and being extremely careful.
