So glad I found your channel. I just had my VSG last Monday. It’s definitely worth it. I know once my face isn’t so round , it’s definitely happening. Continued success on your journey. 🥰🥰
I don’t know if you’ve already tried it…but I saw on another vlog that clothes rental services is where it’s at for people changing sizes frequently. There are some high quality options out there. It seems sketch to some people probably…because…renting clothes. 😅 But based on what I’ve learned, it seems like an awesome idea! I hope I remember this when it’s my turn.
Heyyy love love love your channel, it's the best I've seen! I have my surgery May 1st! Excited and nervous at the same time!! Thank you for all you do!! You look fantastic!!
Love your video! I’m 1 Month and a week and I’ve been stalled for three weeks now and at the same weight that you were! Lol it’s sooo frustrating but I’m learning to be patient with myself and just keep active and mindful about what I’m eating. Patience is the keyword WHEW! Lollll
Your videos are helping me so much to gain the knowledge for when my date of surgery comes. Today was my last nutritionist appointment and was cleared now waiting to see the surgeon to get my surgery date yayyy..🎊🎊🎉
I am in the middle of my journey now, I have 6 more appointments for insurance till surgery and you are such an inspiration and you're doing great!! :)
I'm in the beginning process of my journey & will be seeing the gastric Dr in a week for the 1st time. My question to you is have you lost any of your hair? You look amazing by the way. I couldn't be happier that I came across your page. You definitely helped a lot of my anxiety. Thank you for that!
Great video keep up the good work! You are so right, mental health first. I was sleeved April 1 and I only plan to weigh the 1st and 15th every month. Before surgery that number on the scale had soooo much control of my day, torture. It’s hard not weighing but like you said the clothes tell it all 😀
I'm so Happy for you Karen... good luck for the rest of your journey... currently I'm struggling with weight stall too 💔 but as you said it will happen in the journey... see you in ur next video ❤️
Weight training builds muscle faster. It tones you and tightens skin so you avoi flags. Muscle burns calories while you are not moving. The moment you finish cardio the burning of calories stops. It’s great for cardiovascular health mostly! All the best in your journey. YOU always have a choice and control your outcome. Hurray for you!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I realy enjoy your channel & just subscribed. It's nice findsomeone whose journey is recent as I contemplate vsg. I was supposed to have it in January & canceled, but i rescheduled for May 20th and im terrified but know i need to do something to take charge of my health. Congratulations to you, you look beautiful & happy😊
I have lost 25 lbs too. I’m 25 days post op. How much weight did you loose your 2nd month. I’m hoping to lose at least 10 lbs a month from hear on out.
I had my vsg march 18, I too stalled those 2 to 2 1/2 weeks, it was messing with my mental health too, so I did the same and stopped weighing myself daily , I do it weekly now 🙂
I make a month 5-14-22. I'm 25lbs lighter. I get out the tub & out of bed faster. My clothes look better on me. But the down fall is that I feel like Gumby!😩 I have no definition. I'm ready to lift weights & squat!
The bottles with the times on it help , so you can focus on trying to get a certain amount of liquids down by the time on the bottle . Congrats on your surgery 💕
@@PinkGirlTeaches girl I feel amazing!! I was cleared to eat and now with everything I know and the eating habits I have learned I’m literally losing almost 2 pounds a day. My surgery day was March 6th weighing at 242lbs and I am now I am down to 197lbs literally 45lbs down in a little over a month. I am so grateful I can fit clothes that I haven’t been able to wear in years. I am so happy that I haven’t thrown out all my old clothes. Like they say, trust the process and stick with the lifestyle changes because it works.
OMG! I am so happy I found your page. I was just approved for surgery in May at UCLA. I have been in search of someone with a recent operation! I do have a question do you know anyone who ate baby food for the purée/soft food phase? I just don’t have the coins atm to get the prior blender.
I don’t know anyone who has done that but I’m 100% sure it would be perfectly fine ! You could even add some unflavored protein powder to it so get your protein in 💕
Greetings Lady, Don't get your rings resized yet I suggest that you go to a jeweler and purchase a ring guard. Wear those until you reach your final weight loss goal.
Yes same with going to the bathroom for me. I take a weekly laxative to help me go and avoid constipation. I noticed rhat when I do go Lord have mercy.. same issues with my wedding bands but it still fits but definitely looser.
@@karensandiego thanks for the height information. I was wondering also. I’m just about 1 month post op and I’m in my stall, but I am ok from watching your videos I know it’s ok. I’m 5’1 my surgery weight was 282, I was 267 but stalling has me at 270 😩 but I know it will get better. I appreciate your videos and journey. It gives me hope and a point of contact of where I’m going!
