This guy doesn't play around. He's not like your typical run of the mill style channel for kids and slobby adults. This is really in-depth stuff, like a fashion professor at a university, industry insider, or a designer.
@@gentlemenscholarsclub Good luck! You definitely got your own unique angle. I hope you would eventually venture into more affordable regular clothes/shoes, but with the same scrutiny and focus on details instead of those typical cookie cutter type of advices like "blue suit goes with brown shoes", of course. Because, let's be honest very few people can afford those expensive exclusive articles like Merino wool coats and custom made suits. I like your calm understated delivery too. Subtle Asian style with strong academia vibes. It's like a lecture, but you're politely explaining your take instead of just obnoxiously in your face patronizing the audience like some kind of a prophet reading his teachings to his followers.
I am a lover of navy pants as separates so I agree with you wholeheartedly about the power of the light blue sport coat. Navy is still a staple but as a jacket light blue is massively underrated. You more than made your case sir!
Yes, I am surprised by those who say you can't wear a navy pair of pants with tailoring. Anything that isn't worsted wool is safe, like fresco, cotton, etc.
@@gentlemenscholarsclub Agreed. I have a pair of navy cotton odd trousers, and they're a staple in my wardrobe, and I found them to be more versatile than grey trousers for my own wardrobe. I still don't understand why tailored navy trousers in fabrics like flannel, cotton or fresco are so heavily discouraged in the classic menswear community, as they're very versatile and they look nothing like orphaned suit trousers at all.
If you would like to do the T-shirt and jacket style try a knitted t-shirt. It basically will look and feel like a fine knit under the jacket, which looks much more coherent than a regular t-shirt.
2 questions. What's your size and weight and what size did you order this peice in? I think we are very similar in size and it would help me when ordering my suits from them. I see you did the made to order so I was curious. Keep up the great work thanks 👍🏽
could you please tell me what is your height and weight? im trying to get an good estimation about how the jackets fit on you and how i would fit on me. thank you
