I just head in hands chuckled and yelled wtf audibly, story 3 is the last time i listen to a horror story without headphones at work 💀

Story 3 took an unexpected turn.. 🫠

The cabin story. Up here in Canada, thieves like to rob camps and hunting cabins during the off season. Particularly brave ones will rob your cabin during hunting season in the hopes of snagging expensive guns, fishing supplies, electronics, etc. He was most likely watching the place before and came by to rob it. Seeing the people in the cabin and the windows open, he was probably going to peek in and get an idea of what he could steal. Its called "casing".

Story 3, what the actual fuck lmao

I’m a hunter and I can’t even count how many times some idiot has aimed their rifle at me instead of using binoculars, I always give them a piece of my mind, got in a fist fight with a guy one time, I’ve also just aimed my gun right back at them and I remember one guy immediately stop aiming at me and wave his arms like he wasn’t just aiming his rifle at me the whole time I was in the open 😂

those men in the 3rd story really did find some game but not the kind the wives expected 😭😭

That 3rd story was some Broke Back Mountain S**t. Those poor wives. I would love to know if they ever found out about their husbands extra curricular activity when they went camping?!

Hooray! There’s not much hunting stories, but I remember a lot of times people getting shot while hunting drunk in Michigan back in the 90’s!

Story 1- don’t understand the lack of fire in the dad. As a lifetime hunter with my father and now a father myself, the man would’ve paid for threatening my child and pointing a rifle at him, either legally or in blood

Story 1 what I believe was that man followed you all and knew you were young and that is why he did that I am glad your all safe and I would be more alert to people out in the woods if you ever see a light I would stick near your dad

Story 1 actually happened to my buddy a few seasons back. No one got shot but the young man who was using his rifle scope to glass got quite the talking to by his hunting buddy when he noticed. If you can’t hunt responsibly, don’t hunt.

I Have A Few Hunting Horror Stories, But There’s Only One That Is Truly What I’d Consider A Terrifying Close Call. This Took Place On Escuadilla Mountain In The White Mountains Of Arizona. I Was Elk Hunting With My Dad, Uncle, And My Uncles Buddy. I Saw A Few Cow Elk Around 300 Yards Away In A Clearing. I Was 16, And I Was On My Own On A Ridge, While My Dad And Uncle Hiked Down To A Place Called Hulsey Lake. I Radioed My Dad Saying I’d Seen A Herd And That I Was Going To Move Down. He Responded, And Said He Was Going To Meet Me. I’d Made It Down, And The Elk Had Moved Off. I’d Moved Up To A Large Rock, And Inside That Rock Was What Looked Like A Partially Eaten Mule Deer Leg. I Started To Move Off The Rock, Looked Up Above Me In A Pine Was A Massive Male Mountain Lion Staring Back At Me, So Close The Blue Of His Eyes Was Visible. I Started Yelling To Try And Scare Him Off, And He Is Unfazed, So I Simply Start To Back Up And Away From Him. He Jumps Down Off The Pine, Turns Around, And Starts Trotting Off. Needless To Say, That Encounter Could Have Been Far Worse.

Using ammunition made by, I think Hornady. Will make multiple bullets fire in rapid session, I learned this when hunting with my boss. Had 9 rounds in the mag, held the trigger down, all 9 rounds were spent. However using other ammunition brands and it act like semi automatic.

As a someone who hunts a lot and goes a lease I get really scared at night not only if another hunter things im something to shoot or i become a predators breakfast or dinner because you have to wait for deer to leave before you get out of the stand at night and it can take 30-40 minutes even after shooting light because we’re I live there is mountain lions that could kill you and coyotes also deer will truck you if they feel cornered.

story 2 is obviously just a story but doesnt make any sense t why does a person with bad intentions show up apperently unarmed to a cabin that is obviously occupied by armed hunters after dark in a rain storm robbery doesnt make sense either because of the rain and the fact the cabin was obviously occupied and then hang around so close that he can be seen by the people in the cabin while dressed in all black

The fact the one guy in story 2 had a handgun with him in the forrest in canada...pretty damn illegal unless he has a prospectors license. Though they were apparenrly drinking and getting high and handling loaded guns, they dont sound like the smartest bunch.

It's kinda hard to feel sympathy for hunters who are worried about getting shot. Does the irony occur to them? As far as the closeted Bi or Gay hunters, if that jerk threatened me I'd be even more inclined to let those poor wives know they're getting cheated on.
