So the team failed!!! Why not fire Ben and get a younger, stronger, better lead???

Good interview. Ben is well spoken and clear. I lived in Northern Ontario for most of my life so I am very partial to Brad Jacobs. I really did wonder, though, how is it that he is viewed as a better skip than Brendan. Brad is more intense, for sure. And Brendan seems more low-key in his demeanor. But their abilities seem really even to me. Brendan, a few years ago, was beating Brad more often than I wanted, that's for sure. But a team is also a mix of personalities that need to fit together well. And I gather from Ben's words that they were looking for someone who fit better and hopefully will make their team stronger. As much as breaking up is hard to do, I'm glad it seems from Ben's comments that a reasonably amicable break up took place. Of course, it will be interesting to hear Brendan's take on it.

Hebert is full of it as usual..Gushue's team at their best ate #1 in the world. Botcher's better without the 3 of these guys. Neither can keep their mouth shut and let the skip skip...constant second guessing takes it's toll on the skip.

Ben you are a lead, not a skip so learn to be a great lead than being a great distraction. It is obvious that when you speak is III, ME ME ME. You are not a team player. Let the skip do his job. You do yours. Problem is you don’t know the meaning of team. Your success was due to your skips. When you realize that you may, become a better than average player.

I’m not sure if Brad gushue thought that ye guys were a better team?? Did you ask him?
