Your rosemary did nothing. If you want it to infuse with the butter, you need to let it cook in the butter For anyone wondering: All you need is high heat and salt+pepper.

For anyone asking: Looks to me like the sauce could be a crème d’échalote, or shallot cream sauce

I always thought it was best to remove the tendon/connective tissue on scallops. Have you noticed a difference in taste when you keep it on?

Not much difference, but those are rubbery. Just blend them into a sauce

Pointless adding the rosemary when you don't let it hit the butter to release its flavour. Also half the amount would work.

Most people actually undercook them. 1 minute each side. Glad you didn’t.

Scallops have an extremely delicate taste. Rosemary doesn't.

I really don't understand why you devote yourself to a cooking channel online. And then end up primarly making YT Shorts. I mean are peoples attention spans these days so short that they cannot pay attention for more than 2 minutes? Even though I'm an actual chef/cook myself, I still love watching people cook. Since it's very therapeutic. But I cannot stand all these shorts. Also, me personally, I wouldn't add rosmary or garlic to something as delicate as scallops. They are one of those proteins that have a good enough flavor, that they don't need additional aromatics. A nice sauce maltese & a few variations of cauliflower, maybe a purree, some sauteed & maybe some garlic bread on the side & you are in heaven. I'd strongly advise you to switch to another longer format. Because those people who spend 2 hours watching random shorts in a row, only want to be entertained & not actually are interested in being taught anything, in my opinion. Bless you Kelly

You should make videos.

In order to monetize, creators need to make Long-form content and Shorts. That being said, I dont see what issues you have with this? It was a quick tips and tricks video... something like that doesn't need to be 20 minutes long.
