Best investment I ever made for my boat!! Complete game changer, especially when drifting for flounder in Cape May County, NJ. I use my Ulterra to control my drift speed, positioning of the boat while drifting as well as my drift course. When the tide is slack, I use my Minn Kota to keep the boat moving in the same direction as the tide that just ended and the moment my line starts to scope, I know the tide below is starting to turn and I change directions to match it. Using this method, I've caught fish that I know would not have been triggered to bite!

I'm going to invest in the trolling motor after watching a few videos. Nice to see it was on a Parker 25. I have a Striper 26 hardtop which is really a 24. Looking to get the Ulterra 112

Would love to see pics/video of how that mount is done on the 25' walkaround. I have a 24' that I'm trying to figure out the best spot. I just got my Minn Kota 87" trolling motor. It looks like it's mounted outside the railing. How does it stow and does it get in the way of docking the boat?

Great video, is the fish you caught a stripe bass Question do you need minn Kota I link to hook up to your hummingbird or can it just be an I pilot? Thanks

Thanks! Yes, that is a striped bass. i-Pilot Link is the system that connects to the Humminbird unit for features like Follow the Contour and the ability to control the motor from the Humminbird. The regular i-Pilot system does not connect to any fish finder and only works between the remote and the motor. You can learn more about the differences here: bit.ly/2L5NUpw

using the remote- how do you adjust how low the motor is in the water ?

Hello Greg, To adjust the Ulterra trim position on an i-Pilot Link equipped motor, select the Ulterra button from the home screen, then use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the motor height. On an i-Pilot equipped Ulterra, use the up and down buttons on the remote until 'Trim' appears in the bottom of the screen, then press the corresponding soft key to enter the trim menu. While in the trim menu, use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the motor height. The Ulterra must be deployed in both of the above cases for these options to be available. Thank you

Not recommend for riptide Ulterra, all of its not ready for saltwater environment, all of my friends 3 of 112 lbs Riptide Ulterra getting small or big trouble, all of the problems stay in the trim and tilt parts. Go Terrova, great reliability, much much more enjoyment on waters.
