I stand by working out twice a day..30 minutes to an hour cardio (mostly stair master) in the morning and lifting in the afternoon been doing it for a allmost a month with a cleaned up diet lost 13 pounds so far
I’m glad to see you on the grind and still making videos. I’ve watched you for many years and I cannot express how much your videos have changed my life in so many ways. I literally have heard so much of your advice I don’t even need much advice at this point because you’ve taught me so damn much. I just like listening to you talk about it and it keeps me on track in the right mindset. Thank you for all that you do!
RU-vid need to stop with this cap on ya channel you should be at over a million subs by now it’s just crazy to me I know Big bro Chris don’t care about that but as a fan that has been watching since 2013 POG days my first video was building muscle with cheap Walmart protein….. it’s pissing me off lol for real man Chris has been dropping dimes giving people the real for over 10 years on this platform! And people like me appreciate you bro
Bro you an og. I been watching your channel when I got into bodybuilding (when I was in my late 20's). Years have passed (been making those gains) and I still come back to your wholesome channel man. Real OG in the RU-vid fitness game. 👌🏽💪🏽
Beastmode Jones is back with the heat!!🔥 1 tip that has substantially helped me w my cut is getting rid of ALL JUNK FOOD in the house. If it’s not easily accessible, then it’ll be more difficult to cheat on your diet.
Started my cut a month and a half ago, almost down 20 pounds, with 10 more to go! And although I do tips 2-4 here, it was still very motivational and helpful. I’m starting to get that low carb grogginess, irritability, and drained feeling, I need every bit of motivation as possible right now. And yeah, I’m taking that CUTS FTS every off day morning cardio fasted! Much love Chris
@@JBtheJMB84 cool. Thank you. I’m gonna start that in the morning. Does fasted weightlifting really make a difference? I’ve tried it a few times before and it would make me nauseous.
To be quite honest I've been watching your RU-vid channel for many years now and you always give me the motivation to keep working out when I don't want to stay 💪 beastmode Jones your the man
Chris thanks for doing that interview with Mark Bell! You’ve been that big brother I’ve never had for a long time and feels good that you’re also discovering the spiritual side of themselves that exist within! Thanks bro💪🏽
My Tip #1 Is watching videos of beast mode and others cutting so you don’t feel the pain alone and help you get motivated. Here I am on my 5am fasted abs and cardio watching cutting vlogs motivated!!! 💪🏽🔥
This latest r-invention of the channel came right on time. Used to watch this guy when I was like 18 (10 years about). Self improvement is coming back around. This is the man for the job.
#1.train 2 times a day #2.supplementation #3.carb loading #4.train the glutes Now let me tell you the correct way to lose weight (fast is not the goal) (1-2lbs a week) #1. 2-3 times of 25-30 minutes of hitt a week. #2. Warmup with steady state cardio on lifting days.(lift heavy) will maintain muscle during a cut.(beginners don't do this advanced only) #3. Keep carbs high during the cut(this is what will allow you to maintain and also get stronger during a cut) if your a body builder only train to maintain.. if your a regular person stop the cut as soon as you hit your natural waist limit. Once you get shredded you will lose muscle and strength.shredded=weight lost pass natural waist limit. #4 take pre workout breaks through out the week so your body doesn't get use to the stimulant. (Beginner don't take a pre workout save it for the last month of cutting) and take a diet break every 3-4 weeks of consistent fat loss for mental strength and to recover stress on the body from cutting.(beginners) advance people don't need break mentally and physically you should be able to make it 3-6 months with out a break. #4. Always start calories as high as possible that yield (1-2lbs lost per week) you don't lose that much muscle on a proper cut. Less calories =less glycogen which will reduce muscle size and once you reverse diet back to regular calories(+100 a week until you hit maintenance (stay here for 2-3 weeks. You will gain some weight back and than you will start losing weight again and have to increase by 100 until you find your new maintenance level. I went from 2300 to 4000 daily calories. Steady state will lose fat the same as athletic or hiit cardio but it doesn't carry the same effects on speeding up your metabolism. Natural of steady state is type 1 fibers(slow) also why you find alot of runners to be skinny fat, athletic training and HIIT require quick twitch type 2.. and this is also how we increase our strength every week during the cut(leaner you get heavier weight, less control and less reps (each muscle atleast twice a week) we lack energy when we are lean trying to get leaner... So time under tension will not have enough fat store to use as energy and some muscle will be taken away instead assuming we keep time under tension .. begining of the cut is fine to train that way end of the cut is all a out moving heavy things. 5. MOST IMPORTANT !RE FEED DAY MAINLY IN THE FORM OF CARBS. If your an average person once a week is all you need(+300-600 calories) Past your daily calories. If your an athlete you should be having 2 a week and the leaner you get the more important they become. #6. I could write a book so I'm going to stop here... If you have body dispmophia cutting weight is not for you... If you have trouble binge eating try to fast and save your eating before bed. The 5 meals a day isn't needed when cutting weight. 1-5 meals will not make a difference. Once you have extra fat you will be able to build a little bit of muscle and as soon as you get lean , it's all about increasing strength (or maintain both strength and muscle)
And STOP WEARING SWEAT SUITS AND JACKETS... water weight , is not fat loss and a hydrated muscle is a strong muscle. Muscles contract from the brain sending signals from the nervous system to the motor neuron which reacts with the muscle by releasing sodium and than the muscle pores open up and releases potassium and the combination causes the muscle to release calcium that causes the muscle to contract and than will use ATP for all this and that turns into ADP ... Anyways, if you go for a sweat your muscle engagement will drop and you will end up very weak and soft looking at the end of the cut and you will 100% overtrain if your calories are also too low during the cut with this combination. Sweating naturally is fine but waiting for a hot day and wearing a sweat suit and sweating non stop is a quick way to ruin a cut. That's for fighters who need to drop weight quick, are body is made of about 60% water so with that you have alot of weight you can lose however it's extremely unhealthy and can cause serious damage. You don't have to kill your self on a cut. Losing fat is a very simple formula burn more than you eat. Stay hydrated, get 7-8hours of sleep, don't do low carbs.(body uses carbs for energy for 2 of the 3 energy systems (creatine phosphate and glycocsis) reverse diet correctly to ensure you don't gain the weight back. You body needs time to adjust to the new calories.
Big Homie...preciate the tips! IDK what it is, but EVERY time I start something new...you come through in the "nick-of-time". I just started 2-A-Days today. Cardio in the AM & Your Upper/Lower Split for Lunch. Good Looking Out As Always #PumpFam 💪🏾
The twice a day sucks when you first get started but if you force yourself to go no matter what for 2-3 weeks straight then your body will be acclimated.
Ain’t first this time, but I’m back at like a crack addict. What you think about eating spicy foods? Have you ever ate food with a lot of spices? Foods high and spices and salt are good for people who are terrible with portion control. I’d hope it gives you more topics for videos. Also marijuana and alcohol are great for NATURAL bodybuilding.
spices are beneficlal some companies even put them in fat burning supps..spicy food burns my mouth and makes me sweat so I never been a big fan of spicy food..lol I like to enjoy my meals, but if you can handle the heat then go for it. As for weed, I dont think its for everybody but weed has definitely helped me out and helps calms my nerves; it especially helped me with achieving a deeper mind muscle connection..but I dont see how alcohol use can benefit a natural lifter much; unless you are using it as a tool to get a drier look while you are filling the muscles out for a show the night before and also for a photoshoot (the night before) or something like that.. these questions will definitely make some good topics for some future vids
Hey Chris. This comment may get lost in the shuffle but wanted to it’s great to see you doing well again. I’ve been watching since way back in the old POG days. Things didn’t look good a couple of years ago, thought you were losing your mind or something . But thank god things settled down . Keep well brother
Question? first let me say Chris. love the concept you bring I been putting close friends onto you for some years now. So to my question can calisthenics for someone " myself " who is overweight. Be considered natural bodybuilding? Reason I ask is bcuz I wanna push a concept for truckers like me and I don't wanna misrepresent idea of natural bodybuilding. As a trucker unfortunately I can't get to the gym how I would like to, yet with this weight and I totally agree with two a days using this method with calisthenics. Can be considered natural bodybuilding Thank you 🙏🏾 in advance king for any words of wisdom
Anybody got any advice for me?? I am 5'8 and weight 290lbs but I lift heavy weights 5 days to 6 days a week....I also have a belly, man boobs and neck fat) and medical problems at this weight.... what weight can I look jacked? I can wear 5x shirts as if now
Tip #3 so true, I crunch my abs while riding bike an it weirdly works kinda like when your smoking 🌳 and coughing you barely flex your abs an it feels like a satisfying workout
What's up Jones! It would be cool if you could do a Collab with Justin Lovato he just moved to Texas from Cali. You guys could do a real talk video which both of you are great at doing and finish it with a workout!
