It’s the same with everything in life. I’m a musician and had a performance today and I had someone I look up to say to me “dang you were just locked in, it sounded clean and controlled but you also looked like you could play freely. How do you just know what to play” and it’s the same thing. You train for years and put in the dedication and people will notice
Some guy at my private Christian school tried to down play this by saying “see at the end he slowed down by a fraction of a second.” And I just remember thinking so fucking what he just broke the world record.
He will forever be the greatest hero I look up to even tho now I play basketball he is what I wanted to be like and better then as a very small child. Tho I did something I shouldn’t of done and quit. I was very fast back then but I was never noticed or seen for it so I gave up but now I play basketball…this I will not give up in I learned from my mistakes now I shall create a masterpiece
