@Fresh Beginnings Each day when all is dead those orks leave a lot of spores. So each day that passes there are more orks. I doubt it would turn this way cannon wise, but those orks will begin to turn into a gigantic tidal wave of green which will mean a huge waagh. It would be cool to see khorn get bit by his own toy. Like edge of tomorrow but each day the waagh gets stronger.

well, mainly he seems to have groselly underestimated the chaos gods. Like many of the primarch weaknesses arose from having grown and having been educated so far away from his teachings. He then made the big mistake of thinking that things could still work out this way even when he was outside of the crusade. turns out, without his control, those old wounds would come back and eventually fucked everything up

There are some lore books that explains what happened if a Space Marine Breaks. The most of them are about pre Horus Heresy and I think the best examples are from the siege wars of the Iron Warriors. These Guys grown and lost the most Astares and are mostly used in WW1 like siege wars. Even the other Space marine chapters don't really liked them cause there tactics are pretty Nihilistic and they never really got honored for what they do. Use your dead friends as sand bags or just use them as mannequins as enemy distractions was normal to them. Or use the normal Soldiers to test the enemy strength and to waste enemy Ammunition. They even killed each other if it would bring a tactical advantage and also do Alot of suicide Mission. They used everything to beat the Enemy, even things that are to cruel for even the other Space marines legions. They also changed into the service of chaos Undevided just for the chaos advantage. They don't even worship chaos in Alot of Warbands and also change the Chaos Mutations with cybernetics. Now the hole Legion is just a walking Nihilistic Ptsd Killer Commando in the Warp that do everything to do as much damage as possible

i would find it likely. an Emperor champion simply has extreme skill and experience which elevates it above any standard marine, even the upgraded primaris one. Sure they may be surprised some of the primaris tricks, but space marines are more than strengh, they are also beings of great intelect and frame perfect timing, and how to better use those abilities, and counter those of your enemy. i feel, in my opinion, that lore wise, the primaris "better, stronger, faster" mentality falls a little flat when confronted with the kind of century spanning veterancy of the imperium's finest.

@@leokingo3308 those what you call "hillbilly's" treat their servants/soldiers well. Granting them power, upgrades and abilities that the Emperor wouldn't/cant gift, they watch over you. While the Emperor watches you die on the battlefield for him, you gain nothing for being dedicated/devoted to him. Look at the Imperium of man look at the Imperial Hives, it's a mass factory of slaves, no one cares about you, citizens are treated like they have no worth their lifes dont matter, the Emperor doesnt care, Imperium of man spreads propaganda to fight for the Emperor and that he Protects. But in the end you gain nothing from it. He is the false god. You call the traitors some wannabes no.. they are not wannabes because they get what they desire and much more, being more powerful than any humans and being watched/protect over by the Chaos gods!.
