The Iron Snakes during the Sabbat Crusade fought for a full year against the ghostly remnants of a haunted world. Almost none of them would ever talk about the events of the year that they spent holed up in a hard point and taking shifts observing the surrounding area for the horrific entities that killed so many of the TOUGHEST of the Sons of Gilliman of the 2nd Founding. The Sabbat Crusade was one of the most devastating crusades ever taken. We need a series about it that details the Iron Snakes vigil against the specters of a dead world. Peace gents. Keep it up. Your work is getting so much better. You are growing into this space well. I am happy to see you loyalty to the subscribers. WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHGGGG!!!!!
I'm more a reader than a listener but I will, thankyou. Never really played it but have loved the lore since before Bloodbowl days, I used to annoy my mates who played because I borrowed their books to read the bits of lore :-)And they needed them to play or something :-p
Astartes are massively nerfed in the tabletop and most video games simply because of balance. They're not even close to accurately portraying how powerful and terrifying Astartes are in the "real" 40k universe. If the tabletop was accurate, a single squad of Space Marines would be able to stomp most other armies.
Astartes are not that much nerfed. A LUCKY (see: numbers) close range shot from something like a lucian pattern lasgun or a heavy bolter on most ranges will do damage Edit: well their mobility, speed, etc. is nerfed
"When the imperial nobles refused his request, the eldar emissary grew angry and soon his pleas turned into threats of violence..." yup, that's Eldar "diplomacy" in nutshell.
I would love to see a 40 facts on augmentation outside of the mechanicus as almost every piece of art shows various mechanical augmentation and prosthetics. Just how prolific are these upgrades is there standardization who receives them?
Excellent stuff. But whenever I see the ultramarines show up, I think, victory is assured. And whenever the imperial fists show up I think, these guys at all going to die. Seems to be how things go in GW novels.
Question: Do you think the high cost makes warhammer unappealing to people who might otherwise be interested in playing? Do you think it should be lowered to grow the audience? Follow up question: do you think the rise of 3d modeling will lead to people just printing their own armies?
That actually made me laugh! You’d think they’d get cheaper to be more accessible but Primaris, the range supposed to attract new players, are MORE expensive. Is that irony?
Yes, the cost to play is a HUGE barrier to entry, but that's not the only thing. The amount of time it requires to glue a d paint each model is another barrier to entry. The lore is fascinating, but I don't have the time or money to sink into this, and that's what keeps a lot of people out.
I found three cases with SM, Nids and some Orky stuff once when I worked on the dustcarts, My mates were laughing until I told them what kind of money I'd just picked up.
Does anyone else have problems with keeping up with the changes of subject? Between "this is about Space Wolves and traitors" and "this is from the perspective of Orkz against Space Marines". Made it seem like it´s the same story. Same later with Ultramarines against Eldar.
I'm sorry but you've completely lost my interest here. You've just read - almost verbatim - the Warhammer 40k wiki for the Conquest of Uttu Prime for the intro, and after that I wasn't interested in finding out what else you were borderline plagiarising.
Jon Evans Clearly you ARE new because pretty much everyone who’s been here for a while knows that they read from the Wiki. They have never denied that and all the links are right there in the description...
@@01oo011 I would argue the citation of the wiki, under 'Music' - is not actually indicative of them producing what is fundamentally, an audio-novella by reading something off a website. Were it advertised as "We just read out something available for public consumption, as opposed to - in my opinion - marketing something through not accurately citing sources, or just allowing people to make the assumption themselves that they had done the work. Just seems maybe not intentionally dishonest, but certainly not transparent.
I know it look like it should be pronounced ”ne-FAR-i-ous” @10:10, but it is phonetically ”Knee-Fair-E-Us”. I’ve enjoy so many of your videos. Thank you for all your hard work.
