Marneus Calgar: Next time, try to kill these insects yourselves for once. What do you think we are? Space exterminators? Everyone: Well, seeing as your veterans of all the tyranic was thus far, we'd say that's a pretty apt des-GHAH! (tyranid leg hits someone in the face) Marneus Calgar: FHAK YOU!
In the Horus Heresy book The Pharos it was implied at the end that destruction of the Pharos got the attention of the tyranid hive mind and drew them to our galaxy.
Not likely, as they would have to convince the first ork cultists that the Genestealers have a better way or are worth following. A propa ork would need a scrap to find out. Then even if they do start getting a little following , orks aren’t exactly the most subtle. The war boss would hear about that and crump them.
the real problem with orcs would be the reproductive cycle, since orcs don't pass on their own dna or the dna of the genstealers. Dead orcs only serve as food for spores that emerge from their corpses, and grow new orcs that are born with unique abilities. A genstealer cult could therefore never reach critical mass and start an insurrection
Genestealer orks tend to be slightly calmer and intelligent than normal orks Which is a death sentence if you are trying to infiltrate a planet with quadrillions of orks
I remember a book published in 1993 called Space Marine, where the Tyranids themselves claim that the "turbulence in the warp" upon which our galaxy sits is what attracted their attention. Not the Emperor or the astranomicon, the Chaos Gods are what attracted them. This spoken from the vocal cords of a Tyranid creature itself. Although it could be lying, but why would it lie, what has the Hive Mind to gain from lying?
QUESTION: When the Marine dies is he buried (I mean sent to space) in his full armor and with his equipment? Or are this things inherited by the next brother?
Depends on the chapter. Salamanders dunk the corpse and all his gear in a volcano. Most others keep the armour and pass it on to the next brother A few do monuments etc
If they break out a vortex torpedo sure. Otherwise theyre immune to the life eater and while a cyclonic could take out a ship torpedos and missiles rarely reach a hive ship because of the shear amount of spore mines and interceptors. And then it’s just a highly specialized torpedo that would only take out a single ship
Flamers.... lots and lots of flamers. During the first tyranid wars they left the husks of “dead” hive ships where they were killed. Only for new smaller ships to literally eat their way out of the corpse and start new fleets all over again. They learned their lesson after having to fight the exact same fleet twice
Release the Blood god KHORN into real space with all his minions who are numberlos😈let the blood god collect Tyranid skulls & drag them back into the eye of terror & hve his way with them😈😂
