I get most have a hate boner for Tau, but truthfully I relate more to them. First off I could careless if you're alien or not, if you're semi-competent in what you do and are willing to put your talents and skills for the benefit of people in general and/or for me then yeah who cares. Second, their approach to warfare with putting more emphasis on range and scanning tech I'm all about. Yeah you can have the better physical defenses and more firepower, but if I can see you well before you see me I can either hit you from that range or I can find ways to utterly ruin your day with careful coordination and well timed strikes. Or draw you in to a fight on my terms on a ground I choose. Their lack of CQC skill does need to be addressed that's for sure, but the Tau understand this have made it a point to try to employ those better suited to that kind of warfare with the use of the Kroot and the Vespid. Utilizing their superior range in support with coordination with those who are better suited with CQC to limit their loses as best as possible while eliminating important targets like officers and incoming reinforcements to drain the moral of the enemy and to lessen their combat effectiveness to aid their own allies who are effectively taking the brunt of the force in melee. Also dropping in their heavy support with quick insertions of battlesuits to hit heavy weapons and logistic support to further cripple and compound the issues within the enemy ranks. In general you could say the Tau's approach to warfare is similar in ways to Patton in WWII, keep the enemy perpetually off-balance by keeping them backing up on their heels as you drive them back and take away their greatest strengths and best assets by lightening swift assaults and unrelenting momentum. Biggest difference though is tech and better utilization of tactics to refine this methodology into an art that has been mostly effective while being able to be flexible and adaptable when required.

Tau use more 21st century asymmetric warfare unlike the Imperial guard which uses more 19th century picket lines. So technically the Tau are better. Please leave the usual "heresy" comments below where I can ignore them

The Tau don't do close-quarter combat. Tell that to Commander Farsight and his officers who know that when dealing with Orks, Space Marines, and finding out the true threat of Chaos. He knew that close-quarter was always inevitable. That's why he's trying to convince the rest of the Tau Empire to be prepared.

The amount of misinformation even in official sources is mind boggling. Tau: Fire Warrior GW: Lets make one of the most powerful weapons in the game weaker than a Lasgun. Codex Tau: TAU EYES DON'T FOCUS as quickly as human eyes making them slightly disadvantaged in melee. GW: Lets just delete everything that isn't in caps, I'm sure no wrong conclusions could be drawn from this. GW says the Tau will be able to fight real time and keep what they take in the democles golf campaign, Tau Players take so much space their empire would expand to three times it's previous size. GW: well we cannot have that. Ward: Ultra Marines need more cool fluff, Make them kill thousands of Tau. Fluff: But the UltraMarines are still trying to rebuild their numbers and are dedicated to a totally different region? Ward:Did I stutter? Tau players win the Nimbosa Campaign, GW: Well you won too hard so the Inqui- I mean Tau leaders will censure you. OneMindSyndicate: Here is a totally unbiased Look at Tau Warfare. Just purchased my first unit since I was a child. Got my paints and ready to go lol!. Got the Tau Empire Commander and totally gonna paint him in the classic Gundam color scheme . Tau are what got me into wanting to start back up. The one last shinning light of hope, in a universe gone dark.

Tau vs Imperium is basically Germany vs USSR in WW2 the Tau have much better tech (for the most part) but the Imperium have an inexhaustible manpower reserve

LOL, 'everyone's favorit race' is only alive cz the Imperium's too busy fighting back Chaos, Tyranids, Orks, Necrons and the Eldar to put their little upstart empire down in a crusade. Otherwise the Tau would have been purged already. The Tau can be thankful for all the other foes of the Imperium otherwise they would be now blueberry mush...

the last season of game of thrones thing was funny. Try to make some videos with some humor like that, pretty funny. Also, love when you make these videos into connected stories as much as possible.

since tau has advanced technology they can even possibly weaponized ork spores and spawn them and can be used as psykers due to the waagh if ever they can control a certain ork spawn lol just my theory.

Out of all the races I think the Tau have the worst looking models. I mean they look cool but all blend into one and lack individuality and that wow factor.
