40 hours with CAL FIRE’s Airborne Firefighters at Hemet-Ryan Air Attack Base 

This week, we had the opportunity to meet the airborne firefighters at Cal Fire's Hemet-Ryan Air Attack Base located in Riverside County, California. During the episode, we discuss what aerial resources are called upon for an initial attack, how fire traffic control areas (FTAs) work, and our experience testing cameras in over 100-degree heat. We also provide a sneak peek at some of the actual footage that we captured on the ground for the real docuseries we're working on.
